The Unforgivable (with Sandra Bullock)- 10/10, good story, intense performances and brought tears to my eyes at the end so it gets 10

Housemaid - 1/10… poor man’s Subservience. Not to be confused with THE housemaid with Sydney Sweeney

Did a rewatch of the original Xmen film.
Its ok but nothing amazing.
Crazy to think Hugh Jackman has been doing this role for 27 years !!
Patrick Stewart and Ian Mckellan try there best to elevate the material.

@Mr Trick First early evidence of Joss Whedon behaviour in this film.
Joss really went to town on Halle Berry for "ruining" his Toad struck by lightning line.
Im sorry but no matter how she would've delivered it, its still a crap line regardless. Also isn't that down to Singer the Director instruction of how she delivers a line ? I guess he's wasn't gonna criticise him was he !

Even crazier to think that Dougray Scott was supposed to be Wolverine!

What film are you talking about? I didn't know Joss had anything to do with X Men.
i went on netflix and saw snack schack-2023 as title, i gave it a try and from second one i was hooked, cried, laughed and was suprised, really enjoyed this movie, a needle in a haystack. 9/10.......spread the word

Spider-Man: Brand New Day
8.5/10

Loved it. Not without it's issues though. Tom Holland's performance in this was great.

@hoponlilmama I didn't know that. I do want to see a Henry Cavill Wolverine though 😃

Basically Jean Grey gets away with murder and attempted murder with no repercussions and the writers seem pretty clueless that they wrote that

Cavilrine, as he was dubbed! 😂

I have a lot of love for Henry and was very salty over the fact he was no longer Superman, I think I could see him as Wolverine. At this point though, it looks like Hugh will play Logan forever!

Since it's a new movie you might want to put a 'spoilers' tag on your post....

How do I do that again, its literally been years since I done that ?
@Btvs fan There's a time limit to editing your post: if you're still able to, you'll see the little tool bar with some images. The last one has three dots (appearing vertically), if you hover your mouse on that it'll say 'More options'.

Click on that and another little tool bar will appear with a eye and a line going through it. That's the spoiler tag. Click on that and follow what to do from there. 🙂

In mid-1998, Singer and DeSanto did another rewrite with Christopher McQuarrie of The Usual Suspects.[28][29] McQuarrie was initially slated to work on the script for only three weeks, but had not delivered his draft by October.[20] Joss Whedon was brought in to rewrite the last act. He was highly critical of the script and instead performed a "major overhaul".[30] Whedon's draft featured the Danger Room and concluded with Jean Grey dressed as the Phoenix.[31] According to Entertainment Weekly, this screenplay was rejected because of its "quick-witted pop culture-referencing tone",[32] and the finished film contained only two dialogue exchanges that Whedon had contributed.[33]

So Iv done XMen Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. Damn both of those were terrible films. They should've ended it with Days of Future Past and Logan (real stand out)

So I rewatched Logan. My God its almost 10 years now but its a real stand out film and hokds up on rewatch. Hugh Jackman/Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen are all stellar. Great cinematography and direction

Fantastic movie.
Monster-in-Law
4/10

Highlights: Michael Vartan is pleasant to look at. That said, the lovely Jane Fonda looked beautiful, as did Jennifer Lopez.

Freakier Friday - 2/10 I Loved Freaky Friday 2003 so this was rather disappointing. I put off watching it because the clip I saw previously of Lindsay in the record shop looked sooo over-acted and cringe... and turns out the rest of the movie was the same

I originally really liked it, but then on reflection I realised that was just nostalgia-goggles ... it really wasn't a great film :/
Rewatched LA Story. I think parts of it are good, and parts of it were kinda...meh. It is a very funny send-up of Los Angeles. I love 90s movies
