Jack and Jill

I really wanted to enjoy this since I'm a sucker for Adam Sandler movies, but this one just didn't cut it. With the exception of a funny scene or two, the humor seemed below his ability. It didn't help that everything seemed to be ill-executed, even if there was some good potential. 3/10

Aww that sucks. :( It did seem sillier than the rest of his movies, but I'm sad that you though it was that bad.
The Yellow Handerchief

It was really good actually. I watched it because of Kristen Stewart (I LOVE her) and well, I didn't expect it to be THAT good.... but it wasn't bad! I was kind of surprised. It turned out to have a pretty good ending too. It made me happy. 🙂 8/10

Tres metros sobre el cielo or Three Steps above Heaven
8/10 it was very good and I enjoyed it a lot very realistic the ending at least.

The Muppets... 10!!!!!
I had my doubts (I'm not a big Jason Segel fan) but it was fantastic. Really, there should be some kind of law about making a 42-year old woman cry in public while listening to The Rainbow Connection. Anyway, it really caught the spirit of the original TV series. Yeah there was some updating and guest cameos of course, but it was very balanced. sometimes too many guest cameos &/or too much emphasis on that can ruin a movie like this.

So glad to hear - I LOVE The Muppets!!
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn pt 1- 9/10

I was really surprised how much they stayed true to the book with this movie. I felt like they did a great job with getting both Bella's and Jacob's points of view in there. I also thought they did a phenomenal job with the birth scene; it was exactly what I hoped for. 🙂
I was a little disappointed in the wedding scene. For some reason it just wasn't as fulfilling as what I had imagined, and IMO Bella didn't look nearly as beautiful as they described in the book. However, I guess they couldn't make her her most beautiful 'cause then Vampire Bella wouldn't be as big of a change, right? :\
I loved the scene of the guys coming to get Edward for his bachelor party. LOL So glad they left that part in; I absolutely love Emmett and love when he gets screen time in the movies, cause Kellan Lutz plays him perfectly.

A dream come true!

JURASSIC PARK in the movie theater!!!!! Yes, it really happened!!!

As a birthday present, my friends took me to the movie theater this Friday. I didn't know about anything and when we got there we had to wait outside for a few minutes, so the movie theater guys could prepare anything.
Then we got inside and it was sooooo awesome when the movie started! It was really unbelievable! 😱
It was the best movie experience of my whole life and it's most likely that this will never change.

10000/10

SWEET!! I remember seeing it on the big screen for the original release in 1993 and being absolutely blown away. It's still one of my best movie experiences ever.

Ooo, I have always loved that movie!!
Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

Yes, this was very funny! and it really put me in a good mood too cos I had been watching Soul Surfer earlier and that crap bored the hell out me so this was nice. And I wasn't expecting much from this either cos I had heard people say good things about it and people are full of shit when it comes to horror-comedies, I hate Zombieland, but this was great! 😀.. 4/5.

Shakespeare In Love, 8.5/10
I loved it! It was interesting, funny, had unexpected plot twists, the ending made me tearful and Judy Dench, as always, was a joy to watch.

One Last Thing - 8/10

This is just an obscure movie my husband found on Amazon tonight. I really liked it!! It's about a kid who is dying of cancer whose last wish is to spend a weekend with his favorite super model. It's the right combination of sad and funny. Definitely recommend!

Public Enemies - 8/10

Very cool film by Michael Mann. I think his movie Heat was far, far better, though.

We Need To Talk About Kevin - 9/10 - Tilda Swinton is one hellova actor. The casting for the Kevins was excellent, they all gave off the psychopath vibe quite well - even the youngest.

Fright Night - 8/10 - David Tennant, dare I say more? I'm kinda hating everything vampire that isn't Buffy lately, but this was just awesome and can't fault it.

Super 8 8/10
Soul Surfer 9/10
- now anytime I see Dennis Quaid , I think of this prank on Ellen Degeneres show

Pretty good movies

Requiem For A Dream: 20/10

Dark, intense, disturbing, disgusting, heartbreaking, absolutely brilliant. Even the second time around, I still feel numb after witnessing the horrors that these lost characters go through. Quite simply, a work of art.

In the last 72 hours I just watched all five of the Fast and Furious movies.
The Fast and the Furious: 10/10 Great acting and driving, loved the action. Overall great movie
2 Fast 2 Furious: 8/10 Not as good as the first, but still amazing.
Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift 6/10 It screwed up the time line, also it did not have much to do with the other movies.
Fast and Furious: 9/10 Great movie, was very nice to see Dom and Brian back together. It was also a very good movie for my shipper heart.
Fast Five: 10/10 This movie rivals the first movie for the best job done. Had great twists and had the most action. The ending had to be the best, great movie for shippers.

(Don't think I should have watched them all in a row though, I am very pumped right now. 😀 )

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn pt 1- 9/10

I was a little disappointed in the wedding scene. For some reason it just wasn't as fulfilling as what I had imagined, and IMO Bella didn't look nearly as beautiful as they described in the book. However, I guess they couldn't make her her most beautiful 'cause then Vampire Bella wouldn't be as big of a change, right? :\

Really? I thought she was stunning. Actually I more or less thought that throughout the movie (except scary preggo stuff of course) 🙂

Breaking Dawn pt1: 2/10
They get a plus for packing so much of the book in there but really, there was no need for this movie to be two hours long. They had like three filler montages or something like that...so though I like the book this movie felt like it took two years of my life with it slow crawling pace. Can't believe there's a year left till the release of the next part *sigh* I wanna see it now 🙂

The Help. 8/10 I liked this movie a lot. I'm not sure If I'd read the book that the movie is based on. But It's kind of hard to find movies I like. Lately, movies are not that great.

Amadeus.

I really like this movie better and better for each watch, but this time I couldn't stop looking at Salieris hands when he's old, I'm sure he's wearing some sort of gloves or makeup to make his hands look older, I've never noticed it before but it looks creepy....still, excellent movie. 5/5.

The Devil's Double - great movie and Dominic Cooper does a great job in playing the two parts so well - 8/10

Breaking Dawn Part I - 6/10

I am normally supportive of the Twilight movies as I'm usually entertained...but this one felt like I was watching a day in someone's life. But I expected that because with the book itself...there was hardly anything to work with. It's my least favorite book of the series. But I do like the series so the worst rating I can really give would be a 6. 5 is average so 6 is a little above it. Definitely enjoyed the other three movies more...hopefully part 2 has an edge of the seat gripping or interesting ...PLOT? lol
