Sydney White. 11/10

Okay, call me a dork, but I love these types of movies. Amanda Bynes is always fun to watch and she plays the most lovable characters.

I give it 11/10 because as an added bonus, Danny Strong is in this. Which made me really happy. 😀

Grindhouse (Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino double feature) 8/10

Awesome! Rodiguez' Planet Terror and Tarantino's Death Proof as one movie. Between the two features are "fake movie trailers".
Before the first movie started there was the fake trailer of Machete which has now been made into a real movie.

Love Grindhouse!
The 2008 film, The Colour of Magic.
Even though the film is made in two parts, and that the combined running time is a tad over 3 hours, my interest was kept. Noticed most when watching it for the third time, as I didn't need to fast forward at anytime because there wasn't any boring bits.

I'd recommend the film to anyone. 10/ 10
and whats more, it is family entertainment, rated PG.

Sucker Punch.

First time I watched I didn't like it, but I walked into this movie with the worst attitude like I had already decided I was gonna hate it before I saw it. So at first I thought it was bad, but then I thought you know it wasn't really that bad it was ok, so I went to see it again and I actually really liked it. Yes the story is a bit stupid BUT the visuals and the soundtrack totally makes up for it! I'll admit I like this movie only because I think it's visually amazing, so what, why was Avatar so great? it sure as hell wasn't the story, script or acting. (And Sucker Punch is to watch great on Blu-ray). 4/5

Rocky Horror Picture Show - I love this film 9/10, would be 10 but I've probably seen it too many times

Black Swan -10/10. Bloody brilliant. I was a bit wary of it as the most recent Aronofsky film I saw was "The Fountain" which I found to be garbage (except for the best soundtrack ever) and I've grown weary of Natalie Portman. But boy was I wrong, they both made this movie excellent. I had forgotten how truly stunning Portman is and the film flows great in pace, has so much angst that you feel with Nina at almost every turn and the pictures are asbolutely beautiful. It doesn't hurt that Swan Lake is a favorite ballet of mine.

Although I did spend half of the movie thinking "Eat something!" when looking at the horrifyingly skinny dancers.

Scream 4 - 3/10. Meh. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad... didn't see some things coming, saw others coming... Felt too much like a parody at times (officer Hicks for example was extremely over played by Marley Shelton. Not good at all)

Bridesmaids 5/10 - It had it's funny moments but it was too long. Way too long. A way too big of a downer at times. Edit people!

I agree with the "getting weary of Natalie Portman" thing. I do really like her, but I'm getting tired of seeing her in everything, and she's not great in everything.
Dirty Dancing - 8/10

It's an awesome summer movie. I love the oldie music, and it's a fun movie. I can't believe they're gonna remake it. Second worst mistake ever. (Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes being the First Worst).

100% agree and I thought nothing could be worse than Zombie's remakes.
From Dusk Till Dawn - 8/10
Shadow of a Doubt - 9/10 Hitchcock is the man!
Psycho II - 7/10 Cool movie! I just love Anthony Perkins!

Nim's Island - 6.5/10

The movie isn't bad. It's a good kids movie, but just for kids. It's quite corny and unbelievable, but it's a little entertaining. I mainly watched it because the writing scenes inspire me.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

I'm not a big fan of these movies, I like the second, but watching those I always used to think that wow Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom suck, but honestly now that they weren't in this one, I kinda missed them.
I had a difficult time focusing on the movie, my mind was someplace else for most part of it, it was just really uninteresting... 1/5.

Kill Bill & Kill Bill Vol. 2 - 9/10
Great movies! But very untypical Tarantino movies.
Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown are the most "Tarantino" movies by Tarantino, in my opinion.

Toy Story 1,2,3 - I rewatched the first two parts and watched the third part for the first time.. I cried like a 4 year old.

Gossip - 10, very interesting movie with awesome ending.

Love Gossip weird seeing the stars so young.
Fright Night 7/10 Pretty good Farrell didn't hurt. I found it funny especially David T makes me want to rush and watch Doctor Who.

5/10 - "Post-grad" with Alexis Bledel (and Jane Lynch, she's in everything 🙂) It was a pretty cute story about the first months after college graduation and how they might not always turned out as planned. Cute but not brilliant. Very predictable.

(shout out to Carol Burnett who played the grandma brilliantly 🙂)
