Rate the Last TV you saw

The Lost Room (2006, TV Miniseries) - 7.9/10
I really liked the concept of this series! I thought the first two episodes I were a lot of fun and engaging, while the last episode was probably the weakest, and left a lot of questions unanswered.

It slightly misses an 8/10 rating because I feel like it could have done a few things better, but overall, I thought this was a very enjoyable miniseries and well worth the watch.
 
Last One Laughing (UK version) series 2 - 10/10
Watched the first three eps tonight and i literally howled with laughter. Brilliant, hilarious stuff. Bob Mortimer is a comedy god.

If I was to say I saw the Buffy reboot I would give it 18 out of 10,
but
I didn't see it so I'll only give it 10 out of 10 . . . yep! 🙂
 
Dexter Season 6 - 4/10

Well it was nice seeing Molly Parker show up for a couple of episodes besides that I’m struggling to find much else to enjoy about this god awful slog of a season 😆 I didn’t think it was possible to make Deb and Quinn more annoying but somehow S6 found a way!
 
Rizzoli & Isles. Really liking this series. Kind of nostalgic/comfort food viewing.
Latest episode S4E7 had unusual ending where they didn't 'get their man'.
The 'bad guys' get away with it due to odd legal loophole. To be fair the 'victim' was a child molester.
So don't think the audience (myself included) were too worked up about it. 😉
 
The OA S1, S2 - 8/10

Highly nontraditional storytelling here. Such a breath of fresh air.
I hope the story will be finished somehow.

YAY! Finally another who has seen The OA here :D I'm happy and sad for us.
Paradise Season 2 - 8/10

My one big complaint is that with so much going on and all those characters certain twists or character deaths felt rushed (8 episodes maybe too short for a season). But the season finale really delivered, and once again the character drama was engrossing and the tension and stakes high. Julianne Nicholson’s Sinatra/Samatha is one of my favourite modern TV characters, and for Person of Interest fans Sarah Shahi’s character going a little Shaw in the last couple of episodes is a treat😊

Just finished watching the series finale. One of the biggest nostalgic comfort food kinda shows ever made.
Made almost like an 80s/90s buddy cop show in a modern setting with lotsa witty banter.
💜 all the strong female characters. With a healthy dollop of good natured queer baiting.
All in all a thoroughly (and surprisingly) enjoyable binge watch.

Just fun and enjoyable, cheery tv 😀

Its a little bit like Bring It On X Glee but without the singing. A Cheer coach is fired from her national winning team and needs to start over with college misfits.

It was more hilarious knowing who the characters were based on, and seeing cameos from the cast of Cheer and Cheerleaders. They could have gone a bit more hard core on the humour, but I can see why they didnt want to get too nasty when they need real cheerleaders to do the stunts!

I just found out it is cancelled after s1 but open to a new network for s2. I hope someone picks it up, someone not afraid to be a bit cheeky about it. I need funny silly shows like this!

Wow! I never thought I'd hear of this again. The show was created by SF legend Harlan Ellison but he eventually took his name off it and used his Cordwainer Bird pseudonym after the studio basically trashed his ideas and made a low-budget parody of his original vision. From what I've heard your mark seems extremely generous 🤣

It is generous. I tend to be overly generous with my ratings, and I know it. 🤣
What can I say, Im pretty easy to please.

It's just that I did see some good in the show. I thought the concept was strong, and it had a bunch of potential. It's a series that I think could be really good if it was remade in this day and age.

The three main characters though were positively dismal. Especially the female character Rachel, her deer in the headlights personality got old after like the first two episodes.

And the dialogue...well, lets just say it was terrible. It's one of those shows for me where the low budget props and sets were actually the best part of the series.

Harlan Ellison using a pen name should tell anyone all they need to know. I laughed pretty hard when I found that out the first time. It makes total sense. 😂

I was feeling generous when i rated it. In hindsight, as im sitting here, it's closer to a 3/10. And that is still generous.
 
The Testaments Season 1 - 8.5/10

An excellent debut season that exceeded my expectations. The two leads are very good, and they cast it very well, plus the cameos are well handled. Its that perfect mix of complimenting the old show, but also doing its own thing. I also like how it was restraint on the big musical moments (something the original show over did at times) meaning when they do hit it means more.
