Couldn't see this thread renewed anywhere, so I'll start because I finally caught up with the Halt & Catch Fire finale and it was amazing. So clever and moving, perfect end to four seasons of near perfection 10/10

I cant get over how well I like the new season of the Exorcist. Something happened in the latest episode that makes me want to go back and watch the season over again already... and only 4 episodes in. It's really a great show.

Just watched Henry Rollins be put down on Z Nation, absolutely magnificent. Yeah it's a low-rent zombie show, but sometimes . . . 10/10

@GwenRaiden start with season one if you do watch it. You will like it I think... but don't read spoilers. Seeing it happen and you be like D'OH! is part of the fun. There was a big d'oh! moment in the first season and one already this season.
 
I don't really find anything scary. It's atmospheric though.

Upstart Crow Series 2 - 8/10

David Mitchell as William Shakesphere is perfect casting. The whole of the supporting cast are great too. Just a really fun and original show which is a good throwback British style sitcom at the same time.

Season 10 - Supernatural. So far I'm really enjoying it and am very much into this show again.

I cant get over how well I like the new season of the Exorcist. Something happened in the latest episode that makes me want to go back and watch the season over again already... and only 4 episodes in. It's really a great show.

Yes, and it's very good. There's a big twist in the first season and another twist in the second. And they are legit OMG moments... moments that fit the story. You should watch, you would like.

Straight up, no lie, 4 episodes in the second season and the twist happened I literally went back and watched the previous 3 episodes again. No TV show has ever made me do that before.

Stranger Things, season 1: 8.5/10

Really good! I thought the seventh episode was a little bit boring, but I understand why it was included.

I really loved the relationship between Eleven and Hopper! Dustin and Steve were another fun and unexpected duo. Hopefully Will can finally catch a break next season, that poor kid haha

Just finished Halt and Catch Fire.
Great show. 8/10 (perhaps... I find it hard to rate tv shows)

Would actually have loved it being more focused on the tech and less relationship drama.
But the last season was lovely and I ended up caring more about the characters than I had in the previous seasons.

Also huge kudos for making the teenage kids not only sufferable but even one of the highlight of the last season.
Usually does the teenagers, if they are not the main character in the show, so many incredible stupid things only to create some drama/action for the grown ups to fix that it gets tiresome.

But these girls I really liked. I loved following their story as well.

Stranger Things s2, I should have finished this last night but i thought it had more episodes. Might have flowed better in one binge, but still very good. 8/10

Supernatural s13 ep3. Only minutes in, but happy to see Dean out on the road again. Supernatural is always a good watch. 8/10

"Walking Dead" Season 8 Episode 2

When this series started, I watched it because it was filmed in Northwest Georgia, where I live, and I was constantly on the lookout for familiar sites, plus I'm something of a survival fan, and any posy SHTF situation interests me. I was somewhat skeptical of the zombie element, but, as it turned out, they were quickly relegated to just a minor element of the story line.

I like the characters and the way that they portray the various ways that different people cope with extreme situations, but my one major complaint about the show, which seems to be common with just about any show or movie in which they are depicted, is the totally ridiculous way that firearms are used. I cringe every time that I see a gunfight.

Mindhunter - Enjoyed this. High production values, really horrible true crime serial killer stories and a fantastic 70's setting 8/10

Stranger Things 2: 8.5/10

A bit of a step down from season 1, but still some of the best TV out there. Can't say enough good stuff about the cast and the cinematography/music/setting. I felt like the storyline was where it was a bit of a let down. They should have focused on fewer storylines. I also felt like it was less horror and more action flick this time around.

Wentworth s5: 8.5/10

I think in retrospect killing who know who was a mistake. This season felt weaker without her, and the Freak is starting to overstay her welcome as the main villain. The pacing this season also felt slower compared to other seasons. Still, I really enjoyed it, and I think it was overall a good season.
