13 reasons why S2
I don't know how I really feel about it. There are things that I liked, but mostly things that made me either mad or sad, disgusted etc. It's like everything just stayed the same as it was, nothing changed, there was the build up, the drama, things were moving forward(you'd think) but they didn't. It just lefts you with a bitter taste in your mouth. No justice was served, no one learned any lessons. Also I have to point out the scene at the service where Clay says something like: I still don't understand why she did it. Really? She left 13 tapes about that but you still don't know OKAY. But then I thought that maybe that's the point of the show, I'm not supposed to like it and that's fine, because literally everything that is happening there is unfair, cruel and yeah that's what real world is sometimes. But it gets so dark. so cold, it just smothers you and doesn't even give a second to take a breath, show something good. Also, the whole Tyler thing, was I supposed to cheer for him? To say: god speed you boy. Cause that's just wrong on so many levels. Anyway. I can't even rate it cause I'm just confused about this show, is it like that on purpose or is that just bad writing.

Some of what you point out here is one of the downsides to these multi-seasons TV shows. The reason so little changed during this season or no one really got justice is because then everything would be tied up and it would be hard for them to keep it going.

I'm just thinking about teens who obviously watch it even though it is 18+ and what kind of message they received through that: nothing will change, bullies will continue to torture you and no one can protect you.
But yeah. They just need to keep the story going

Pretty Little Liars S1 - 8/10
It's a solid first season, imo. I find it nearly impossible to rank the episodes because it's meant to be watched in a cohesive binge, unlike most other shows, but I do have a favorite episode. It's also one of the only shows where I take my shipping seriously (Spoby 4eva!) 😛

Anyway, I'm already a good chunk into S2, so I'll be back here soon enough 🙂

There's that and the fact that its better for drama if you see more of a struggle. I think up to a point they are trying to be realistic about how unfair High School can be if you don't happen to have money or social status. At times they've done it to get the show's message across, but at times I think they've gone a bit far the other way. Towards the end of this season you have seen more resistance to the bullies. I would expect that to carry on next season.

I hope that will be an issue, we need a glimpse of hope, just a little bit, cause yeah sometimes they've went too far trying to prove a point that was kind of obvious from the start. I need a conclusion to Tyler's story, that's for sure.

Pretty Little Liars S2 - 8.5/10
I swear each season just gets better, so far. The characters and their relationships are more established here, giving the writers a chance to really focus on the mystery parts and strengthening the character arcs. That ending, though, one of the top reveals of the entire show. Did not see that coming.

Pretty Little Liars S3 - 9/10
Like I said, keeps getting better. So far, this is my favorite season, but I remember liking 5, too, so we'll see when I get there (in a few days 😉)
This one has a much more dangerous A, a heartbreaking Spoby story arc, not to mention some of my favorite storylines for each of the girls. Even if the ending isn't one off the best, it still starts of a great mystery involving a certain someone lol.

A Very English Scandal - 8/10
A remarkable true life story. Nicely paced, with a surreal tone. Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw are perfectly cast and both give convincing performances. Its a complex and engrossing drama.

Conviction: Murder in Suburbia - 7.5/10
Engrossing two-part doc about a group of female investigators who look for new evidence in a case of a man convicted for his wife's murder even though her body hasn't been found. The slow burning details of the case are intriguing, but the program also asks important questions about the police force too.

Supernatural s11
I don't know if the production team or the showrunner changed or what but something is different and I don't particularly like it. I feel like everything is dragged out for no reason and most twists are completely predictable.... And it continues in s12 too apparently (I'm at e08 so far). It's too bad because the monsters and intrigues are good but the episodes aren't as well done as before. And a lot of stuff get recycled like the Crowley-Rowena dynamic which was really fun at first but kinda gets old.

The Bridge series 4 (2017) 8/10
One or two plots were maybe a bit rushed. But on the whole this was a very consistent, gripping and at times moving final series. Think they left it on a fitting note.

Legion season 2 - 7/10 - Not as good as season 1 but I still enjoyed it. It was a bit slow and self indulgent at times. I feel like they may have painted themselves into a corner with what David did to Syd in the last episode. I'm curious to see how they handle that storyline in season 3. Aubrey Plaza and Jemaine Clement are still awesome in every scene 🙂

Oh I like Aubrey Plaza, I might check that out! Ta @ItMustBeBunnies

Safe 7/10

Solid show, decent and easy binge watch. Micheal C Hall does great close ups. Thankfully a little less mind blowing than Dexter. The description of it sums it up well, it was exactly what I was looking for on the day I saw it.

Bold and the beautiful catch up tv - 10/10 ! The cycle has been born again! Liam got both Steffy AND Hope pregnant. Brooke is giving Hope relationship tips "MARRY HIM NOW!" - taking advice from the pro!

Its a weird trippy show. I'd be very curious to hear your thoughts on it :)
Melrose Place season 4 (1995/96) 5.5/10
Think this is the weakest since the first season. But the final few episodes are just so batshit insane it sort of makes up for it!😛 The Insane Asylum plot is fantastic!😀 And
Richard's hand coming up from the ground as the last shot is so cliche but in a fun way!

Hannibal
This show is magnificent. Third time watching and Laurence Fishburne & Gina Torres still bring me to tears when
they discuss Gina's cancer
Just a bunch of super-talented actors with great script and direction, running around with the coolest cannibal ever created. Plus, the visuals in this series are just incredible. Each and every shot is beautiful in one way or another.

Parks and Recreation season 3 (2011) 8/10
Best season so far. Really gets to the grips with the characters and some fun and playful, but also touching moments. Rob Lowe's performance is just priceless and one of his career highlights.

Sharp Objects - intriguing pilot. Looking forward to see where it goes from here. Amy Adams been great (per usual) so far. Great cast including Patricia Clarkson, Elizabeth Perkins & The Newsroom's Chris Messina. Also a great soundtrack just from the pilot. Kind of wish that this was on Netflix, so I could binge it tout suite!

Just seen the pilot and couldn't agree more!

I always forget I can use some French words in English, just like I use English when I speak French. Sometimes I wish I were Québécoise....

The first half of season 3 is a bit slow. They focused too much on the esthetics of the show. They get their pace back in the second half though.
