My biggest complaint about 3-D movies has always been those stupid glasses, especially since I have to stack them on top of my regular ones to avoid having a blur leap off of the screen at me. At last, someone seems to have found a solution.

Hmm, well i didnt see much information on how its actually going to be done. 3D without glasses...how? You've got to trick one eye into reading one field and the other eye another, im curious how that can be done without any glasses. If cameron says its the future though, he's probably right.

Was wondering what Avatar movie it was.. good it's Cameron and not Airbender. Too much digital scares me. I just get images of the Phantom Menace in my head.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that you still need to wear polarized glasses.

I think I read somewhere that there is some kind of solution for smaller monitors but the frame rate is still quite low so it's a lot of flicker.
That was some time ago now though, but I still don't think they have it for the big screens yet.

What do you guys think? All movies in 3D in the future? Call me crazy but I think a lot of movies are better in 2D. Some sappy romcom's not really gonna work in 3d, mind you, just think about a big budget superhero movies.... drool.
