We were talking, BEG said the above would be his dream cast but didn't say for what, I suggested a Buffy reboot and then we divvied up the roles. We didn't set out to do it, hence the "accidentally."

We were talking about the chemistry of Andrew and Emma in Spiderman 2, then we were talking about awesome casts, then we mentioned Buffy, then put them into roles on BtVS, then we perfected the BtVS reboot, naturally accidental.

I'm sorry, I'm not inspired by any of these choices tbh.

There's some good choices out there. I'm sure that some actresses could play the character and do a good job, but I just can't imagine anyone other that SMG as Buffy. There's a lot of SMG's personality and humor I think that goes into Buffy. There's just a certain subtlety or quality that she brings when delivering the comedy. Now they would be playing a new Buffy and they can give their own portrayl of what Buffy is like, but to me SMG brings what I love about Buffy and who she is in her performance.

This would be such a hard cast to recast because I think every actor is perfectly suited for their roles. Main cast at least, there are some exceptions, like Riley.
Liam Hemsworth looks like he could play Angel, but I haven't seen enough of his acting chops that makes me think he could play Angelus. Tom Felton could play the evil side of Spike but I don't think he could play the charming side as well as James Marsters does.
