Did anyone notice?

I was just watching Fool For Love (s5 ep7)
and noticed that the girl William(Spike) wrote
his bloody awful poem for was played by the
same actress who later played Anyas' ex-coworker.
You know the one who granted Dawn's wish on
Buffys birthday episode season 6.I wonder if
maybe that was the same character?
Any thoughts?
 
I think it was done purpously, because when Spike and Halfrek see eachother again in 'Older and Far Away', they recognise eachother. Presumebly from 'Fool for Love' when William was lusting after her.
 
never noticed that before, but it would explain how spike and halfek already know each other.
 
Joss was asked that and he said they are 2 different charecters its just a coinesdince(major spelling) that the same actress got the part of Halrek

It was a coincidence that the same actress got the part of Halfrek, but after she was cast, Joss added the little part where Spike and Halfrek recognise eachother, just as a little extra for people who can remember that actress from 'Fool for Love'.

Wicca Will - Spike and Halfrek already know eachother, because before Spike was sired and turned into a vampire, he had fallen in love with Cecily, yet she did not love him back.
Spike was later sired and we are supposed to assume that during the time from then to now, Cecily was turned into a Vengeance Demon.
My explaining is awful though, so just watch the episode 'Fool for Love', that's the episode with Cecily and William, before he was sired. 🙂
 
It's just amazing the continuity in Buffy. I've been re-watching the early seasons on DVD, spotting Jonathan, Larry and others doing little more than walking through scenes.
 
haha thats funny. I did notice that they were the same actor. I was wondering how Spike and Halfrek knew eachother though, thats funny how he added that in!

the continuity on buffy and angel is excellent and ahardly ever gets mixed up(like with dates and stuff)
 
Yeah, I noticed they were the same chick. It's kinda funny that things worked the way they did. Maybe if Halfrek/Cecily had just gotten with William I doubt he would have ever hurt her and then he would'nt have run away into that ally upset and they both would have lived normal lives...Oh well, BETTER FOR US!
 
i thought they could have said a bit more to eachother. i mean william really loved her (in his geek days lol)
 
Hey, I never noticed!! I did wonder, however, why Halfreck and Spike knew each other and why she addressed him as William.

I never noticed that, but it was not the only time that an actor was reused. Did anyone notice that the same guy who played Ken (Carlos Jacott) in the 'Buffy' episode "Anne" also played Richard in the 'Angel' episode "Bachelor Party". He is the same guy who went on to play Jack in 'She Spies'. I just thought that was interesting...
 
Other actors have also been resused:

Brian Thomsan played Luke in the first few epis of season one, and then went on to play the Judge in season two (Surprise and Innocence); and the guy who played Wrack in season six also played Zachary Kralik in season three's "Helpless"..... Intersting, hmmm.

When I saw it, I thought it was Halfrek! Being a vengence demon and all... she's been around for a few years!
