Re-watching from the beginning!!

So, I made the committment to re-watch all the episodes, in order (Buffy and Angel) as shown on TV. And I wanted to kind of blog about it as I do, and share the expirence with you all, because frankly my boyfriend would rather listen to a Chimpunks album than hear me prattle on about Buffy.

I labled the thread as a spoiler, because I know there are some people out there (could it be??) that have not begun watching, and I don't want to ruin anything. That would be tragic.

Anyways, on to the diary...

Season 1, Episode 1/2
Welcome to the Hellmouth/ The Harvest

I knew I was going to like this show when Xander ran into the stairs with his skateboard. Watching back now, I see that Joss's sense of timing is near perfection. That man should have had bookoo the Emmys.

Funny though, how young (and poorly dressed, was that the fashion?) they all looked.

Best moment: When the three of them walk away from Giles at the end of the Harvest, "The Earth is defintley doomed."

Quote I now use in my everyday language: "Gee, can you vague that up for me." -Buffy

Season 1, episode 3
The Witch

I didn't like Amy, even then. I knew she wasn't as clueless as she let on. Humph! Okay not really. But it's hard not to notice now, that I know what I know.

Best moment: Buffy lifts the box crate top without flexing a muscle, after Joyce struggles for the entire scene.

Favorite Quote: "I'm a macho macho man, I want to be a macho man."-Buffy (high off magics)

Watching some more tonight. Hope to here from you guys!!

Rewatching is always fun, looking forward to hearing more of your views.
 
I would suggest just adding in your comments to the episode discussion threads where they exist, so that people might actually discuss your comments, rather than posting them all in one thread. 🙂

Hahahaha I understand you, I wanted to share up when I first rewatched it, it's great. Buffy Summers is right about the episodes threads, it's easier for everyone to know where to look to discuss about a certain episode 🙂
 
Alright, I found it BS, thanks again for the help. I'm putting up my next few shares up there now.

PS..Even though my man pretends to not like Buffy, I catch him watching it sometimes. 😉
 
Haha! I started the same thing this week. I couldn't stand listening to the same music anymore on my laptop so I put on Buffy. It makes the time go quicker. Since Monday I've gotten up to "Angel" already.
 
Oh, I love re-watching! I'm doing it right now, you know, as I'm buying the dvd box-sets. Now I'm at the fourth season, but you have to know something. After four years I'm watching BTVS, I haven't seen the 7th season yet. I was waiting to buy the dvd box-set after having re-watched all the other seasons, but now I've just found out they're showing the whole 7th season at one o'clock a.m., so I'm watching it in the dead of night. I'm waiting for another episode right now... I only hope it's going to be aired since here in Italy Buffy is just an empty-time-filler tv show, and they air it how, when and if they want.
Horrible people!
 
Oh yes, re-watching Buffy, I often do that mostly because I can never decide witch episode to watch so it's just easier to do so..
I´m on the first season right now, love episodes like The Pack, Angel and The Puppet Show, and holy crap some of those dresses Buffy was wearing were really short! or maybe i´m just prude..
 
I've been rewatching as it airs on Teen Nick too! Own the show and all but it kind of 'forces' me to watch in order. Not that I don't love the whole series, but its nice to actually have commercials and takes me back to watching on TV back when it was on air I guess.
