Bear McCreary, music composer and director of music for SHIELD, is well-known for writing "behind-the-music" blogs for the projects he's involved in. As a former musician, I really enjoy reading the details of how he writes his themes, the instruments he uses, & the musicians that perform each piece. McCreary is best known for (the re-imagined) Battlestar Galactica and it's associated movies & spin-offs, and he recently won an Emmy for DaVinci's Demons. He is also responsible for the musical scores of The Walking Dead, Human Target, & Defiance among others. There are some great extra features about the music on the Battlestar Galactica DVDs, so hopefully something will be included on the SHIELD DVDs as well.
