Reading group for anyone interested

Hi guys. I have just started a local fantasy book reading group in Denver. We are using Goodreads to get together and discuss the books we read. Since this will be the primary (and possibly only) method of communication for us with regard to these books we read, I thought I would extend an invitation to anyone on these boards who might be curious about a group of this nature. some of my friends have been slow to getting into the group, so part of this is my desire to boost numbers a little while we wait, lol.

And I miss you guys. It is getting very close to the time when I can become a full-time contributor to these boards again. But I do lurk when I get the chance.

I went to the link to see if I was interested in what you're reading but you can only see the bookshelf if you're a member. What's the first story up?

I love Fantasy and Science Fiction, but I'm terrible at keeping to a schedule for reading. 🙁 I'm supposed to be writing my own sci-fi novel right now and here I am on BB procrastinating like a good'un with no-one here to put me in my place....

So yeah, I'd love to Anthony, but I'm actually rather rubbish. Sounds great though, I hope you guys enjoy yourselves.

The first book we will be reading is by Scott Lynch. It is called the Lies of Locke Lamora.

Wow, that's fantastic!
I plan to finish that book when I'll have time and I'm interested to join if i can.
I am a lurker too nowadays and have even less time than usual, what with mom's illness and all. But when I'll fly back to return to my usual life I'll surely check out your reading group.
