Real Life Joss Characters

This is kind of a strange topic so bear with me...
Joss said that Oz was based on somebody he actually knew in college so I was just curious if any of Joss's characters remind you of anybody you know in real life.

My dad is a whole lot like Xander personality wise plus he always builds things (and he hates Angel).

My sister and I have a very Dawn/Buffy like relationship.

I have a mentor that is a lot like Giles.

I was just curious cuz I'll be watching the show and be thinking that character is just like......
 
I would be a Cordy or a Spike I think I have their characteristics sarcasm and such.
My friend is like me so same. I also have a little oz because these days I am so laid back it isn't even funny. I am not completely one character in the Jossverse really.

I had one friend who would be a Riley easy. He was always so reliable and nice.
 
I'm a mix between Buffy, Xander and Willow. My cousin is Willow in a nutshell! One of my cousins is Cordelia in the high school years, such a bully.
 
My sister is so BTVS Cordelia sometimes, it makes me laugh. My best friend is like a mix between Oz and Xander and I know someone a lot like Willow.
 
My dad reminds me a lot of Xander!
My brother is Owen!
My grandmother is Joyce (she also looks a lot like her)
My aunt is Willow.. (she is very young, though)
And me.. Idk, maybe Cordelia?

My older brother is a bit like Angelus. (Mentor who is a bit sadistic.)
My other brother is Pre-memory switch Connor plus Warren.
My sister looks and acts Dawnish but she can be very Tara like at times. (That's her name; btw.)
My nieces are the Potentials. (hehe; lets hope they grow out of it.)

In high school I was half William; half Xander.

As for me I'd say I get my heart from Spike; my brain from Wesley; my geekness from Xander; and my soul from Angel....





...and my love of tacos from Fred.

Joyce: my mum :heart: The head of a single parent family, kind of a cool mama (except my mum is even cooler than Joyce. She loves Buffy and got herself Ouzo offered from a bus driver because she made a joke that made him laugh very hard).

Fatih: my sister. The "I've had a rough past so it's just okay for me to threat you like crap because your life doesn't suck and I'm a poor victim and I hate you because my life suck suck suck, but I know you'll always be there no matter how bad I treat you because we are like, connected or something" girl.

Dawn: would be me, the youngster who wants closer from her sister but feels like it would be best if she didn't exist.

Wesley: A guy who was in my high school and in kindergarten with me, who used to be like Nerdy Wesley but became very hot with the time (so smart+hot= WESLEY).

Tara: One of my best friend :heart: . Very shy at first, but when you get to know her she opens up and is one of the sweetest sweetheart on earth :heart:

Kennedy: Totally a boy in my class. The guy who knows that he is very good at what he does and shows it and tend to be a lil bit bossy or snotty. But not a bad person. Just very, very, veryyyy self-confident.

Angel-Angelus: my current crush. Can be adorable or quite not-so-nice(but not to me). Once friendly, once sending vibes that make me go "Okayyyy, you're scary today".

Anya: One of my friends (two, actually) who sometimes need explanations on human behaviour, because they don't always get it. One of the two is the more like Anya because she sometimes has unusual reactions that are very funny.

Andrew: Another of my best friend. One of a kind.
 
I, myself used to be a lot like the Bad Hair Dude (and I'm not ready to forgive him any time soon for holding the mirror of my own darkside history to my face... 😛). I really, reaaaaallllly hope it's not just wishful thinking that I'm more like a mix of Oz and Tara, nowadays.

I don't think there's been other peeps in my life that would remind me of Buffyverse chars. Except visually, though - on his first appearance in the show, Oz very much looked like a shorter and thinner version of a dude I knew IRL and was constantly at odds with... so imagine my jealous reaction when he hooked up with "my" Willow. 😀

If we add in other Whedon shows, though, I can't help but see Shempy as Kaylee Frye. 🙂
 
Well, all my friends say I'm Anya. Maybe it's cause I'm blunt and oddly literal and a little slow... I identify more with Willow though: too analytical, kind of quirky, sometimes too nice for her own good, with a darker streak nobody ever really expects.

I know exactly who I see a certain girl on this site who is my bestie, but she'll hit me in the jeans if I ever compare her to that character.

I see my brother as Giles. That may be odd, but he just has the personality- he's protective, very book smart, a little sarcastic, and somewhat bossy at times.

And of course there's Spikey. Internet peeps count, right? And I'm sure that there are tons of other people on here who are all Buffy characters in other lives, I just don't know them well enough yet! 😛

I'm very Buffy: layered and complex 🙂 Loyal, funny, can get quite caught up in myself, have an outward indentity, etc

My best friend is so Angel: The nice guy, a little tortured, and willing to do anything for the people he loves

My mom is a lot like Joyce: wants to be a good parent and do everything she can for her kid, but isn't quite finished wanting to do her own thing.

I can't say any of my family members are similar to the main characters in BtVS... My father is somewhat of a mix between Xander and Giles, I guess lol.

As for friends... That's different. One is a LOT like Jonathan. Also a friend I've had for a long time is very Willow'esque. 😉 I've known a few Wesley(on BtVS that is) too. And I know someone on BB who's a lot like Cordelia, bahahaha! 😀 I can't say I've met or known anyone who were entirely similar to Buffy, Spike and Faith.

As for me personally, I'm a mix of Lorne, Xander and Tara.

I'm definitely a female Xander. I'm very sarcastic, goofy, and dorky at times but very loving and loyal to the people who earn my respect.

I went to school with a lot of girls who were like high school Harmony. Ewww.
