I used to be one of those people that thought reality shows were beneath me, and they were the reason so many good shows we're getting cancelled.
But over the years my opinion has changed on them, I don't enjoy most of them, but I don't think their beneath me anymore.
I watched Laguna Beach and the Hills, which was awful but enjoyable to watch (I'd also argue if that's reality TV, it's pretty much scripted!)
I love the Apprentice Franchise, don't know why, cuz business isn't my thing, but I love any version of this show, America, Celebrity, UK, Irish, Australian!
The Real Housewives, is so awful and shameful to enjoy, but they are so good(bad), and mixing one of the Housewives into this year's celebrity apprentice was fantastic! I've watched Beverly Hills, New York and New Jersey (although not enjoying Jersey anymore without the psycho!) (I also justify watching these to myself, by saying I only watch them in work online, when I can't do anything else)
And yeah Kean X-Factor is addictively good, and a really social over here, loads of people gather and watch it, and it always seems to be with drinks over here, X-Factor was responsible for me going out every Saturday last august. Pre-Drinking watching X-Factor and then out, and everyone was always talking about it.
And the creme de la creme of reality TV, Jersey Shore. Fantastic series, so crazy addictive and entertaining
