What are you currently watching and what are you excited to see return?

Currently I'm definitely engrossed in:
Big Brother 11
Top Chef: Las Vegas
Project Runway
The Real Housewives of Atlanta - (Definitely worth checking out)

And America's Next Top Model is coming up soon, so I'm super excited for that.

Reality TV is really the only TV I have time for nowadays. You don't have to watch every single episode to grasp what's going on, and it's just generally more entertaining.

Currently I don't think I'm watching reality shows. Sometimes I watch Coleen's real women or True beauties, but only when there's nothing else on tv.

I'm excited to see Hollands's/ America's next top model or project catwalk return. I like those fashion reality shows.

Im watching big bro 10(marcus or siav 2 win). Also like hells kitchen, or any Gordon Ramsey, when thats on.

X factor and American idol auditions are good for a laugh too, some of the clueless muppets that go on that.

The only reality shows I'll watch it ANTM (America's Next Top Model) and X Factor, occasionally bits of The Hills but I really don't grasp reality TV much. Especially when they all start to copy one another like Make Me a Supermodel US is just a high fashioned version of ANTM.

em, i watch

Big brother
X factor
Project runway
Goks fashion fix

and also stuff like Average Joe, and queer eye for the straight guy! and Beauty and the Geek.
haha.

The Hills is okay too, a bit fake though.
em, what is that program that was on ages ago

the one with the Australian guy has to pick between 20 year olds or 40 year old women.

I guess the only reality show I was is What Not To Wear, but I don't think that's the kind you were asking about. I don't care for reality game/contest shows... at all.

But there's just something about watching Clinton and Stacy that I absolutely love. They're awesome.

I mostly don't like Reality TV and hate that because it's cheaper it's resulted in networks being even quicker to replace quality but ratings challenged scripted shows with cheap, terrible lowbrow garbage. I understand that different people like different things, but extremely similar reality shows have pretty much spread across all networks and cable stations. Get this crap off my television and play something worth watching!

I currently watch/try to keep up with

Big Brother
Project Runway
Real Housewives of Atlanta
The Real World
Brooke Knows Best
Flipping Out

The Apprentice
Hells Kitchen (rarely)

...both cause they always have ridiculous contestants with serious prizes at the end, it makes for rediculous/entertaining/interesting tv.

I'm not a fan really, i'm not a Big Brother fan (even though I ran the game here). I did watch a bit of BGT and got sucked into it and I do watch the auditions of X Factor if it is on but I won't go out of my way to watch it. I think too much of the tv schedule is taken up by reality tv, but it seems to be what a large percentage of the population want to watch.

I stopped watching Big Brother 2 series ago, and since I don't watch much TV anymore I don't watch any Reality TV. I don't have a TV signal in the room I'm in right now, so I guess that helps. Reality TV was more the sort of thing I watched when I was bored and there was nothing else on.

I completely forgot about Flipping Out. Another excellent Bravo show. And we so need to talk Big Brother, lol.

I actually hate reality TV unless it's the following:

The Girls Next Door
Keeping Up With The Kardashians

& then the branches off those...
Kendra
Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami

Reality TV is just crap otherwise. So much drama. These shows are funny and light.

Well, if it is that kind of reality show that we're talking about, with the drama and the real lives and whatnot...

Yeah, not so much for me. I'm on board with Revolver. Production values or nothing, nothing I tell you!!

Revolver
I find myself agreeing with much you have to say.
Just because they're easier to produce, doesn't make them any less desirable than scripted television. Some people don't have the time (or the patience) to devote to an hour-long scripted drama where they have to watch week-to-week in order to keep up and not get lost. Sometimes it's nice to sit down and watch the Real World or Big Brother just for a little bit of voyeuristic fun. "Cheap" doesn't necessarily mean "trash". 🙂

I'm just making the "to each his own" argument. Not getting down on anyone who likes reality, I just don't. They're less desirable to me, I don't find them entertaining; but I know that lots of people do and that's fine. Kind of like... how I hate fish, but I know lots of people love fish. And I talk a lot about how I don't like fish, but I don't try to take away anyone's fork.. you know. Just like that but without the tartar sauce.

I watch The X Factor,The real ER,Hogan knows best(re runs)
Dragons Den,America's next top model(i love the tantrums, lol)
Little people, big world, ladette to lady(the aussie one was great)
🙂
