Ok, I am aware that what I am about to post may suggest that I have watched BTVS more than any sane person ever could...

Every time I watch the intro for seasons 6 and 7, I notice that one of the frames has been flipped. My cousin theorizes that they needed to keep the eye going back and forth, but still, every time I see it... all my brain can do is shout WRONG!!!!

My reason for this post is two fold

1. I want to show everyone this little quirk
2. I am hoping that there are people out there as crazy as me who can provide even more REALLY obscure trivia!

The first picture is taken from the episode Spiral
The second picture is from the season 6 & 7 Credits

I know someone really buffy obssesed my sister ally-fan its weird we are both pretty obsessed (as bob will agree) but people think we are actually insane we quote buffy to each other and while were talking all the time. like yesterday i said "button button whos got the button" to my sister just passing in the corridor at school one of my friends looks at me tells me i am crazy my other friend looks at me and says to me "Buffy or Angel" ( he knows me well) yeah but i havent spotted anything in that much detail in the title sequence as i usually close my and start jumping while going nanananananan na na na nananananananan nana na na so on so forth to the tune of the song but ask my sister (ALY-FAN)

Tueuse de Vampires

this whole post and only one(!!!) time use of punctuation???
In School Hard, there is this scene behind the bronze. The use one frame twice (Buffy turns around). It drives me crazy every time I see it.

I will definately be checking this out tonight!
One thing I noticed recently and I felt kinda dumb for noticing is that there is a busted TV in the vampire lair where Riley goes to get fed off of and its the exact same TV that Forest busted in Spike's crypt, and when I see it I always ask myself, "How did Spike's old TV get there?" lol Its silly, I know.

Another thing is that those fugly sandals that April the robot wears are worn again by the girl who gets attacked in episode one of season 6.

I don't know why I notice these things.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but since I always air drum to the intro, I did. In season 3, the drum part in the theme song changes near the end of the song from

quarter note - quarter note - quarter note - quarter note
to
eighth note - dotted quarter - eighth note - eighth note - dotted quarter...

which drastically improves the rockin'ness of the song if you ask me 😛 I noticed when I went back and started watching the series from the beginning again and was disappointed at how bland the end of the theme was.

Sorry- band geek here!

quarter note - quarter note - quarter note - quarter note
to
eighth note - dotted quarter - eighth note - eighth note - dotted quarter...

Correction:

eighth note - quarter - eighth note - quarter - quarter. My bad!

thats because the original song was recorded in about an hour. They rewrote it half way through S2
I found this in wikipedia.org 🙂
In "Revelations"...

When Buffy and Faith burst through the glass doors while fighting in Angel's mansion, they land in a pile of broken glass and wood. Next, when they go to get up, the glass and wood has disappeared.

This bugs me every single time I watch Tabula Rasa - a vampire bursts through the window, shattering the glass, knocking the blinds down and smashing the display... then a little bit later on, it's all fixed and Spike lowers the blinds.

Then a little later...

Ah, good catch.

lol, It's so obviously, why I hadnt seen it before! ^^
I just watched 'This Year's Girl' and I found something. 🙂
The scene that Faith tests the harlor lipstick at Buffy's house...
If you look in the mirror, you can see that HER RIGHT ARM HAS NO TATTOO.

The blunder in Goodbye Iowa really annoys me. When Buffy takes her hear scarf off and puts it around Riley's hand and then when it cuts back to her its still on her head!

I notice that one a lot too, bugs the crap out me lol.
I don't think he closes the blinds, I think he closes the metal bar protector things...i could be wrong

In the Yoko Factor (I think...)...well, anyway, the episode where the Scoobies are breaking into the Initiative and Willow and Buffy are scaling down the elevator shaft or whatever...when they hug at the bottom, Buffy's arm keeps switching positions. Sometimes it's pressed against her body, between her and Willow, and in other shots it's wrapped around Willow. Bugs the crap out of me.

Also, in "Lovers Walk", when Buffy pins Spike down against her counter by his neck, her hand switches from frame-to-frame too. Sometimes she's using her right hand, sometimes her left.

well there also not absailing properly, Actors are too precious to use a belay plate i guess. That scene always bugs me, or any scene in hollywood trying to depict climbing
There are a few shots where they zoom in on the Library doors in earlier seasons and we always see the camera reflected back. Sometimes its really obvious, more than what theyre trying to show in the library!

The camera is Andrew's. They didn't really know him at the time, but he was already working on his documentary.
Silum agrees: well there also not absailing properly, Actors are too precious to use a belay plate i guess. That scene always bugs me, or any scene in hollywood trying to depict climbing
Yeah, it was also super-obvious in that scene that they're not actually moving anywhere too. Just going down slightly over the same 4 or 5 feet of wall.

I think one of the most well known ones is in Older and Faraway when you can see Spikes reflection in the mirror..

Another i noticed whilst recently watching Witch is that Willow fills the test tube up say half way, but when she gives it to Buffy it's only like a quarter full.

In "Once More With Feeling," when Buffy leaves the Magic Box to face Sweet, she's wearing a whote shirt. When she takes off her coat at the Bronze, it's suddenly red.

maybe sweets magic clothing switch a roo is to blame

white avenger
white avenger
And, of course, that was a "WHITE" blouse, not "whote."
I hate in " This Year's Girl" that you can see the boom mic operator standing in the wood when Buffy, Xander and Willow find the demon that Adam's strung up and dissected. Every time i see that scene i just think "Who's that guy, and why don't they see him? "

Ahh, just thought of something. Maybe that was supposed to be a subtly clever "walking through the fire" metaphor. Buffy wears white, she walks through the fire, now she's wearing red. Too subtle, though, and ends up just looking like a mistake. 🙂

But shouldn't it be black = ashes then? She has walked/is walking through the fire = burned.

well that wouldnt make it a metaphor now would it? That would make her....burned.
