Okay, Spuffies, let's show how gracious we can be. I had them to do it the other way around, now it's our turn. Who's up to the challenge?

1) Because theirs is an eternal love.

2) Because the Powers that Be Joss intended it to be that way from the very start.

3) Because they look so absolutely RIGHT together.

4) Because only a blind fool could miss seeing how absolutely devoted they are to each other.

5) Did I mention that "eternal love" thing?

those reasons have nothing to do with why BANGEL is so good

That's just the point it isn't an eternal love they both moved on.

that's true maybe i'll grant you he did bring them together but he also pulled them apart

At one time yes they were but i really don't think they are now

If you want to offer criticism, make it CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. WHY is it "bull?"
I was hoping that at least SOME of my fellow Spuffies out there would be so cordial as to suspend their disbelief long enough to participate in a little game. At least some of The Bangels were willing to try. Are we so small as to be unable to do what our friends from the other camp did?
 
Here I go...

1) Buffy and Angel love each other. Angel saw Buffy and fell in love with her isntantly. Although I believe he eventually fell in love with Cordelia, Buffy was the first woman he's ever loved in 200 years. So she'll always be in his heart.

2) Buffy and Angel share a common interest, which is killing evil things. They don't have to worry about hiding who they are or making excuses whenever they run off. Shoot, they can actually make it a date. "Yeah let's have dinner, walk on the beach, and then kill that seaweed demon."

3) Buffy and Angel have a healthy relationship. If it wasn't for the curse, they'd be cumchucking like bunnies all the time. The romance is also alive in their relationship. They don't have to make love to enjoy each other. Just being there is enough for them. They also console each other when one is down.

ok now i feel like an idiot and you know what the kick is i'mactully a bangel fan as well as spuffy fan wen it comes to some things

Ok, I'll play - don't know how many i'll come up with but, here goes...

Reasons why Buffy and Angel are made for each other:
1. They have a love that transends time and place. it doesn't matter that they are separated, living seperate lives and don't seem to communicate that often, when they do meet it's like they never parted.
2. First love - enough said
3. When they do meet they seem to be able to push aside the changes they've been through and just be that golden couple of their youth (well of her youth, not his but you get what i mean)
4. Destiny. it's destined, pre-ordained, fate and you can't trifle with that!
5. One thing Buffy and Spike have in common is their loyalty in love - once in love they stay that way

Right, off to continue work on my SPUFFY fan vid i'm in the process of making.

1) They have a relationship that made you definatly go awwwwwwwwwwww most of the time

2) they defianly had some passioatly love ( IWRY them and a table) i'll say no more

3) They we're a wwonderful couple they we're sweet and caring and devoted it's great for a first love

I only have one thing to say on this subject (besides I love Spuffy):

I agree with VG. Buffy was the first thing that Angel was able to love since he was turned into a vampire. I was just watching Season 2's "Dear Boy" where Angel is talking to Darla about how she never made him happy, because he didn't have a soul when they were together. After being cursed with the soul and brooding for like what, 100 years, then he finally finds someone that he can love and makes him happy. That would be the only reason that I could say that they were meant for each other.

Someday somebody's gonna have to explain this "hippo" thing to me. I just KNOW you aren't talking about tha "water horse," and I'll bet it's not the ones in tootoos from "Fantasia," either.
