Recast your favorite movies with your fellow Buffy-Board members.

The whole Ye Olde BuffyBoard thread got me thinking about certain roles we'd all have in some of our favorite movies...

Let's start with one of my favorite movies (THE favorite movie I need to think about first) :

The Big Lebowski​

Personally I'd love to be a female version of the Dude, the man has such style, but to be honest my true nature is to be Donny.

Without as much as a doubt Buffy would be Walter (yeah I know I'm bad to the bone).

Comma would be the Nihilist played by Flea, accompanied by Faith who would be Karl Hungus (Peter Stormare).

Mr Pointy would be the lonesome cowboy that tells the story and gives The Dude advice.

I can see Elmo sitting in Maude's chair and laughing that maniacal laughter. What was it he did? Was he the famous videoartist? But who would play the role of Maude Lebowski? A tricky one, but I think the recent posts about leather by NSlayMode have gotten her the part as the somewhat scary Maude Lebowski.

And once again I put Faldor in a role that I have no idea why, because he would be Jackie Treehorn.

Once again let me state that I was born bad and that I will die this way, but there is only one person for the role as Bunny and that would be Cordelia, I mean with the label whore you kinda had it coming 😀

For some reason I can't help seeing doppelganger as Aimee Mann's female Nihilist.

And who would play Jesus then, round and round we go...and we stop at... Soulgasm. For some reason that makes perfect sense.

Need to do some thinking on the rest, but I can assure you I will be back with the rest of the cast!

I guess I'll do one of my favorites: Empire Records

Joe Reaves: Killerdwarf, Joe's mature, responsible, but at the same time freakin funny and laid back...

Rex Manning: I'm going with Xander, mostly because he had a pink James Marsters Avie and think he could pull off the role as the flamboyantly dressed, sex crazed rock/pop star..

Jane: I'm seeing Buffy as Jane, cool and coy and getting her man in the end.

Lucas: Lucas is very much intelligent and charming, yet at the same time
increasingly annoying to Joe and Mitch, I'm giving this role to Comma 😛

A.J.: Very much like A.J., the sweet, sensitive Lee would make the perfect lil artist

Debra: I'm going to say JollyApe, I think she could pull off morbidly sarcastic Debra well.

Gina: Call me self-centered, but when I worked at record stores myself and we did this, I was ALWAYS Gina 😀

Mark: It's a gender swap, but crazy, funny Mark belongs to Faith 😀

Warren: Can't think of the rhyme or reason, but I want to give this role to XxSlayerxX

Corey Mason: Our own little miss perfection (meant in a good way) Jenny...

Oh yeah and don't mind the gender switching..just went with personality! 😀

Don't hate me for this and I know it's not a big self-esteem boast, but I'll let you use my ego to deflect it. Epo you are Brandt. So sorry, it just popped up. I think I'm suffering from imagination Tourettes. It's his little nervous laughter that does it.

OldMaster is the only nominee for the role as Big Lebowski.

We still got the role as The Dude available, but I can't seem to think of anyone who can do it right now.

Ok, I've gotta mention Kill Bill, because:
Beatrix/The Bride - Fran (aka doppelgänger)
Elle Driver - Me (aka eponinethen) (please let me be Elle, hehe) If not me, I'd say Amber Benson
O-Ren Ishii - hm, not sure, is anyone cool enough?
Gogo - An evil version of elmo or possibly Faiths5x5
Budd - Ape (oh yeah)
B.B. - elmo or Jacklyn (not that I believe you're four-year-olds or something, uhm)
These are the ones I'm not so sure of, at all:
Bill - N4H? Warlock? Nah I don't know
Vernita - I'm thinking Frenchy or Cordelia for some reason, but it's not completely right

Um I've not seen the film but I'll thank ya. I'll try my best (amusing sidebar that will be kept short due to possible children. When drunk last Friday I was rammering on about how much I want sex).

Aaaaanyway, picking a random film off my DVD rack- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Joel Barish (Jim Carrey)- Hmm bit hard to choose due to the limited males, and my limited memory. Probably, crikes dunno, go with Comma. I think he could play Joel well.

Clementine Kruczynski (Kate Winslet)- Not a hard choice, NSlayMode. A fun, neurotic and free-spirited gal with crazy coloured hair, who else is there for this role?

Patrick (Elijah Wood)- Old Master III just cause im running out of male people, and OM to me could be that kinda lovable goof that Elijah plays, and I mean that in a good way.

Stan (Mark Ruffalo)- Lee because he wanted a mention. Plus I'm sure he would rather get high and dance then work, again I mean that in a good way.

Mary (Kirsten Dunst)- Cordelia because she seems so sweet and nice, but can be a little bit naughty. Plus I'm sure she'd love to go out with Lee and get high.

Dr. Howard Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson)- nerd4hire because the character is the smart guy in the film, and n4h is the smart guy on the forum. Its a match made in my head.

n4h as Randy Perkins (Seems like the smart-movie type 😛)

Cordelia as Debbie Salt (I think you'd be a good psychopathic killer... I could be wrong...)

kd as Derek (It would be me, because I've actually done the cafeteria singing dancing routine... But I'm missing the parts to be a boy (Thank GOD))


So yea, I think I would definately work that one...

The role of Sydney would definately have to go to Cordelia,well loved, smart enough to get herself out of a homicidal situation...(wow, hows THAT for a compliment for ya?)
Billy would have to be Faldor...LOL. Sorry hun! I'm not saying you're a homicidal teen killer- but I get that silent yet ornery vibe from ya...
They would so cast myself as Tatum- because we all know I'd spout off at the lip and get myself killed...
Stu is most definately KillerDwarf..once again- appologies, but he's sarcastic, sex crazed, and funny as hell..(You're gonna kill me aren't ya KD?)
Gail Weathers is So Jacklyn..forward, witty, and In charge...
Randy, the funny, movie obsessed, love slave of Sydney.This one was tough - but I'd have to say Comma....
And for Dewey- well, I'm not gonna go there...I had someone in mind, but I value my life...LOL. :tongue:

I'll hafta say Comma as Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher (Redeem you for the cheerleader outfit 😛)

KD as Kevin Myers

Fran as Jessica (No doubt, 150%)

Cordelia as Vicky Lathum (There, hot girl, instead of serial killer... happy?)

This one was hard... But, I'm gonna say gender swap and my gurl Tru as Steve Stifler (Its the girl obsession... sorry baby)

Epo as Heather (Easiest choice in the book... The sweet and innocent... Yet, hidden naughty side (I know its there 😛))
