refferals?

i've noticed that under people's profile pages it says their number of refferals. what does this mean? thanks 🙂

It shows how many people you've invited to the boards using your referral link. (found in your User CP)

If a person clicks that link, that you send them, and then join the boards, it registers on your profile that you invited that person to the boards.
