Regarding BBGT

It seems a shame that after all the crap this board has gone through recently that we can't even mess about and have a bit of fun. I don't know the full story so I'm not even going to bother commenting on that but I will say that it will be a real shame if BBGT goes "off air" so to speak. And I'll take the chance now to say thank you to all the staff involved in it from the start right up 'til now for their time and effort and dedication and organisation!

Alright, so the contestants have all agreed to continue. Flannen will be taking over the organization of this activity, so I'll let her post any information about upcoming shows.
 
Good to know the situation has been resolved. I'am sure Flannen will do an excellent job and good luck to everyone still competing. :smile3:

As Buffy said a few days ago, Buffy-Board's Got Talent will be continuing. We have, however, decided to take a couple of weeks break before the culmination of the competition. We will be aiming to be back at the end of July, around the 25th.

So keep your eyes peeled for more information in the coming weeks.

Hey everyone,

I'm really sorry to have to announce that tomorrow's show is cancelled. I know some of you have been waiting a long time for us to get started again but due to technical and other unforseen difficulties we're not in a position to continue yet.

We're doing our best to work out these kinks so in the meantime please sit tight and when we are in a better position to inform you what's happening with the rest of the competition we'll post.

I'm sorry to have to be the one to announce this, but the rest of BBGT is officially cancelled. Maybe at another time it can be tried again. I'm sorry for everyone who put so much work into this, it was a very entertaining activity from all involved, all the acts were great and Old Master, Flannen and the other staff did a great job putting it together.
 
Oh, wow... I'm really sorry to hear this. 🙁 I really hope this can happen again in the future. Thank you very much to all the staff and contestants who worked so hard on it!

Yeah, everyone involved was great. I really wish things could have worked out more smoothly, but it was awesome while it lasted. Hope it gets picked again in the near future. 🙁
 
Yeah it sucks, I think this was one of our most ambitious projects we've ever done on the boards.

It can be really difficult to pull off even a small competition, so there was always going to be difficulties with pulling this off.

But I think everyone can be really proud of what was done, I think it showed that BB really does have talent, lol!

I was totally blown away by the level of talent I saw, so major props to you guys for all your work, and to the staff that actually organized it, I'm not sure people are aware how much work actually goes into a project, and it's a talent itself to be able to manage one!

But I think even though it's over, we can learn allot from it for future projects, and hopefully we'll have opened a new medium for people to show off themselves around the boards, I know people had already put up music they did, but I hope we can continue to see that around here, competition or no competition!
