Last night, I was cooking dinner and I let the person I'm dating go use my computer while I was cooking. I totally forgot that an email from someone was up on the screen. The person read the email from my friend and has been uncomfortable around me the past two days. I'm not going to put what they read on here because I don't feel comfortable talking about it, but that's the whole problem. Naturally the person I'm dating is going to want have questions and answers, but I don't feel comfortable talking about it, but I know I have to answer the questions and answers. So, how do I talk to them about without making the situation worse. I don't want to be like "I don't wanna talk about it," because that's not what you do in a relationship. So, any suggestions on how I can talk about it without screwing things up?

I don't know what to really tell you...except talk about it and address the situation whatever it may be. If you feel that uncomfortable talking about it try explaining that to the person you are dating. Perhaps they will understand and respect your privacy. It really depends on what is being discussed though. She might be incredibly hurt right now and very confused which would mean she is in need of some serious discussion about the issue at hand...

It's kinda hard to help ya if we don't know what the issue is. But if it's something you don't want to talk about with your date, tell them that. You don't have to talk about anything personal to them if you don't want to. They should respect that. If it's an issue that has already made things weird between you two, then you should try to explain the situation, otherwise the problem might be the end of the relationship.

I guess there's only one way really... tell the truth, even if it embarreses you. If you really love this girl that's the least you can do. Besides, if you tell the truth there isn't much you can say wrong, if anything about the truth upsets her too much to be able to date you, you and her probably just weren't meant to be.

Well, you're all probably wondering what the problem is. Let me talk to my "Yoda" about it, and I'll think about posting it.

i think i'll go with allycat.. even though it's hard you should talk about it! it might not feeal good before-during or after, but it might make it better- well in a way... besides... maybe it would help the situation if you did talk about it?

well any ways- i wish you good luck!
