relationships...don't be shy...

Terry was that aimed at me? Because if so, no I have never beaten a guy up.....got a few good hits in before now though 😀
Jacklyn; same, I fell asleep in one of the guys' beds Sat night, watching Mallrats. Course it was the boys fault beccause I'd only had two hours sleep the night before through sitting up watching movies and the like with them the night before (and again I made myself completely comfortable on the other mates' bed....) Terrible lol!

My last relestionship was lame!
we been going with each other for a while and decided to start going out. I felt that when i was with him i couldnt talk to him that he was more interested in talking to my Mate and i realised 2nd week into relestionship that i didnt like him and that he was UGLY and i couldnt hold a conversation with him wel i could he just couldnt i felt like i was talking to a brick wall! I dumped him by Text! HA! where not friends as his friends are total Arses and said **** bout me so i got annoyed with him! and we dont talk at all! 😀

With my friends, we automatically like and respect any woman any of us are dating. It actually has nothing to do with the woman either, it's more like our mutual respect and trust is such that if our mate likes a woman, then she MUST be great! When a mate is mad at his Beau, we are too. When he feels she is being too clingy, we do too. Of course, we have learned not to display our empathy negatively towards a mate's girlfriend, since he may be mad at her now, but he would probably resent us for being mad at her later on.. It's kind of like a guy code, and I pity the guys who don't have that with his friends. I would do anything for my friends, and I trust that they will always be there for me, ready to do anything to back me up. It's like being in a mini biker gang I guess, except without the leather, chains, motorcycles and drugs. 😛

It might seem that that kind of thing is pretty intimidating to a new girlfriend, but it's not so bad considering she is a default member as long as she is dating our friend; which means we would do anything to back her up too.

That's great! My friends have that kind of relationship. I have a group of 5 best guy friends and 2 girls, besides me. We have been best friends for five years and have been through hell by each others side. Each of the guys have outside girls, (aside from my husband who obviously married me) and one girl has an outside boyfriend. The other girl is single. All of their respective "dates" are welcome with open-arms into the group, and will probably continue to be there if the couples amicably break-up. Of course that doesn't always happened and one of the core members (there used to be 4 girls) have been kicked out due to bad treatment of her ex-one of the guys in the group. It's weird how the whole thing works, but it does. And I for one have earned a solid group of approx. 10 people that I'm sure i could trust with my life. It's a great little group we've got here!

I am unsure if my description made any sense at all....

It totally made sense. It's exactly what I was talking about. My little group consists of 3 guys and one girl (who once dated one of us - but that's ancient history - she was just way too cool to let out of our sight after that hehe).

It's funny how, if you just assume that you will do anything for another person, it will always last. I've had titanic arguments with my friends in the past, but since the unspoken commitment of loyalty is there, we are never nervous about calling each other up the next day. You become alot closer when you have a non-rejection pact singed in blood, allowing you to speak your mind and REALLY get to know each other.

yeah, my friends are like that too. Only for me it's more, if you don't like my friends, adios, because my friends are the most important thing to me.
