Religion

no i am hoping for something like this to happen to me, i would of course be afraid if that happend to me but it would dhow me that i have the power, which in turn would gice me confidence

I was catholic untill about 3 or 4 years ago, i converted to the religion of wicca 😀

I have been a Wiccan for about 3 or 4 years now and thats alot considering i am so young

Is that so, how interesting. Have you written your book of shadows Kevin? or a spell?..😀
And Cole, could you keep me updated on your convertion?. not that I am interested in converting but Wicca is indeed an iteresting religion and I want to know how well will it suits you.. is that ok?..😀😉

Ofcourse i'll keep you updated, its nice to be on a site where people dont mok me for converting, because a lot of my friends take the mik at home. But yes i'll keep you updated.

I was baptised and all that stuff and was raised a roman catholic.
Never was really active though..and as soon as I figured it was time to examine the religion more closely I had to renounce christianity because I couldn't support their idea's or their dogma's.
Nowadays I've decided not to be too closely aligned with any religion. I believe what I wish to believe and what i find most logical to believe, which is a combination of some aspects of many religions.
I do have a soft spot for wicca though.😉

Okay, I'll be waiting for it... thanks Cole...😀

Christianity is really full of mysteries but you don't have to understand all, or find the logic in every single detail, that's why its called 'faith' because you believe in something you can't see, a lot of people failed to realize this things, they wanted to know the logic and insights about God that they question His existence... but of course, you can't find every logical explanation about Christianity, only God knows..😀

after reading about what people had put regarding my post i have been studieng wicca and i have changed my mind it says that you can be part of another religion because you dont have to believe in the wiccan gods and goddesses also they believe in not doing anything against another persons will wiccans are good and i will be pleased to have them by my side of god and christianity.

also because iam a christian i believe totally what jinxed is saying, we all look for answers that we can see and hear for ourselves but we have answers all we have to do is look inside our hearts and see what we believe, there is the bible 2000 years old full of descriptions but somewhere along the way people have lost faith in what our society was made for.

wiccan is a serious religion and it should be part of christianity that is why you can peice some of each parts and join them together and it will all make sense.

just try to look into your hearts and see if the faith is still there

Every religion has the same meaning "faith" and you will get what ever you are looking for

When i was younger i believed in God and all that, but as i got older, i began to study the sciences, and reallised that (in my eyes) there cant possibliy be a God, i say this because there is to much scientific evedence to not beleive. Recently my Step-Granmother died and i began to wonder whether i was wright or wrong, then i looked at my mum, who made me realise that it doesnt matter whether a God exists or not, its the hope that the thought of one brongs, that i believe attracts so many people to a certain religion. My mother was convinced that her Mother in law was in a better place, and this gave her comfort, so i now believe still not in a God but rather in the hope a God can bring (not literally)

The reason the christian "god" has such a big following is due to a thousand years of oppression in Europe. Do you realise the atrocities that were commited against REAL European religions and the people of the world in the name of christianity? It is a religion that gained its support through FORCE and nothing more.

Personally I am an Odinist.

oi... religion is such a confusing subject. sometimes i just wanna say that christianity isn't real, that it's government made. doesn't it make sense? i dunno...

i am considering wicca tho. just yesterday i bought a book at barnes and noble called 'origins of modern witchcraft', although i haven't gotten to read it yet -- i'm still in another book. the whole idea of wicca just fascinates me.

i have started to study and read up on wicca and iam fascinated by it all as well.

but after studying wicca i would have to say that it isnt a religion its just respect for your surrounding and i have also read that you can still believe in christianity as well and any other religion

It is a religion otherwise other religions wouldnt view as a religion. I have know been researching this for about four months and i'm still not sure whether i want to become a wiccan or not. i still have more research to do.
