I've just looked and I now have an extra square, that is extra bright!

What are these brighter rep squares about?

But honestly I'm not entirely sure why there are brighter ones but they just accumulate as you get more and more rep points!

I think it's another "stage".

I have a question of my own though (glad you opened this thread, gives me a chance to ask this).
I get that we're getting rep points, and we get more and more squares as we get more karma. But I noticed that at some point the amount of squares stops from moving. And I see that everybody that has the maximum stays with with that same maximum amount of squares. Is it really the max? Or will it change someday? Just curious.

But if the difference between having one lit green box and two is, say, 100.
and two to three green boxes is 150, then the difference between 6 and 7 lit green boxes could be 500.
As such, it would seem that it is the maximum, because it will take so long to move to the next level.

Eventually you get to the end of the jewels - there's not an infinite number of them.
