Hehe that's funny... "They promote witchcraft" like there's something wrong with it.
But It's true that Ignorance is no excuse for ignorance. My lil sister is really in to the Harry Potter books and when the first movie came out, she wanted the whole family to go with her and see it. Everybody were "yay!" but I was like "naay!" cause I thought that Harry Potter was the stupidest ever. But then when the second movie came out I was a little less pigheaded and decided to go and see the movie. After the movie I was so totally into Harry potter and damned myself for dissing my sister.

After that I learned to never again speak of something I haven't actually seen because that's what feebleminded people do.

I've lost count of the amount of times I've read in the papers of someone or some organisation condemning a book or film. When asked if they have seen the book/film they say no. How can you make a reasoned critique of anything without having first seen it? If you want to criticize something, you have to see it for your self and then make your mind up, not follow the crowd like sheep.

Like Grand Theft Auto for instance. People rant on about how you can murder prostitutes, and yes, taken out of context that makes the game sound hideous. But in context, it's just another aspect of the games free roaming ethic. Nobody every mentions that you can also drive ambulances or watch the sun go down to Patsy Cline - but would that change anybody's mind? At no point does Grand Theft Auto tell you to go out and rob a car and run people over. Matter of fact, I'd state that the game pretty strongly suggests that such a lifestyle tends to be very brief and very unpleasant. But it doesn't matter, because people will still rant about it without having played it, and I'll still have to sell it to people who'll give it to their ten year olds.

Yeah, I think so. I wonder though, what they'd say even if they did watch it through to the end? Would they consider it less or more offensive based on the last few frames? Does provocative always mean offensive to people?
