In "Reprise," we see Lindsey hit Angel with his truck a bunch of times. Lindsey is a Texan, but the truck's license plate was from Oklahoma!

I read on IMDB that it's his truck from real life!

Christian Kane grew up in my home town, Norman, Oklahoma. He's two years younger than one of my older brothers. During that time, the high school was 11th and 12th grade, so my brother didn't go to school with him, but my brother did know of him. He remembers Christian as being a kind of shy but nice guy.

Part of me has always wanted to meet Christian and ask him what he thought of my town and what places he liked to hang out in and things like that. LOL

Supposedly he was annoyed with Joss for the 'tiny Texan' remark in the last season of Angel because the whole Red River Rivalry thing between Texas and Oklahoma. Kind of amusing.

Christian was actually born in Dallas, Texas and moved around a lot before his family settled down in Norman, but yeah, that's actually Chris' truck, and I THINK he still has it.

In one of the episodes, I can't remember which one, Lindsey mentions growing up, impoverished, on an Oklahoma Indian (I can't remember which tribe) reservation. Maybe he left there as a young man and moved to Texas to go to college, or just to escape the awful living conditions.

Hmm, I don't remember that. I do know that Christian is part Cherokee, and his song 'Spirit Boy' is dedicated to that part of his heritage, but I don't remember there ever being mention of Lindsey having any sort of Native American background. I do remember the scene in 'Blind Date' I think it was, where Lindsey tells Angel about his poor background: 'Six kids in one room, and come flu season, it'd go down to four.' Which was the reason he took the job/college offer from W&H, because he didn't want to end up like his parents.

I could have sworn that I heard it somewhere, but then, maybe it was on his new show, "Leverage," rather than "Angel."

Ohhh yeah, the rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas gets ridiculous, especially in Norman, where the University of Oklahoma (OU) is- People get downright RABID here! It's quite scary. LOL

Hmm.. I know he was born in Texas. But I think we can all agree that he's a southern boy! He even has a new digitial EP out that has a real southern rock/country feel to it. It's available on his website and free download too. Y'all should definitely go check it out if you're interested at all! Oh and his website is christiankane.com and if ya just wanna listen to some tunes you can go to his myspace too. myspace.com/christiankane
