- When Buffy is fighting the "giant snake" her shoes are black flats. When she is finished talking with Giles and walking up the stairs her shoes are chunky black heels.
- Guest star Greg Vaughan's name is misspelt 'Vaughn' in the opening credits.
- At the end of the episode Xander reads in the "Sunnydale Press" that the fraternity cult members have been given consecutive life sentences. In reality a criminal trial of this magnitude would take months, if not years, to complete.
