Hi all. I'm currently working on a research paper for my Drama class. We've been instructed to research an actor/actress (stage or film) of our choice. Our prof wants us to use information that the actor themself has given (in interviews etc...) and not 2nd hand sources. Since I have a lot of magazines with Sarah in them (and b/c I love her work) I decided to do my paper on her.
I have a lot of references and such but thought that some of you might have other articles that would contain good information or even just some insight and ideas of things I could discuss about her. The main part of the essay is to deal with the actors "way" of acting - basically their approach to acting etc... I did find a really great quote where Sarah talks about how she doesn't understand Method actors and that she finds that what works best for her is to just become the character - not draw from some other experience in life.
I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas of things to discuss about Sarah, or quotes that she has said that might be useful/insightful. Also, what are your reasons for liking Sarah as an actor? What do you guys like about her work??
