They have restarted making RE/BH 4 AGAIN!
and everything you've heard about Umbrella, Leon being infected, the Progenitor virus, and Claire, Barry, Chris, and Jill helping him...may not be true.

heres what I KNOW.

Resident Evil 4 (so far) WILL NOT feature any Zombies, T-virus, G-virus, or Umbrella.

It will involve a small village in a 'voodoo trance'.
see the presidents daughter gets kidnapped and Leon tracks her down to the village.

Inside the village, the people are all tanced and obviously try to kill Leon.

They will be kinda like Zombies, but will be smarter, faster, and will throw things like axes, hooks, and any sharp item.

there will be hardly any load time, no waiting for doors to open, if you shoot an enemy in the foot, they will hobble (you can aim anywhere you want).

and the best part of all, (possibly not true), Is IT CAN BE A 2 PLAYER GAME!!! YAY!!!

I love Resident Evil, but wow, this is like a new game all on its own!!! the screencaps give me frights.

Ive been saying for years they need an outbreak of some sort in a village, now to have voodoo villigers? WOW!

ANYONE READING THIS....GET THE GAME! 2005!
 
It looks pretty... I still can't bring myself to play Resident Evil Zero... 🙁 It scares me lol

Might plug it back in just to remind me of the wonderous feeling of being freaked out... but whether the gamecube is still around by time of release, has yet to be seen... Still think the Online Resident Evil Title should be Xbox Only... grrrrrr
 
It would have been nice to see those screencaps you guys mentioned, but alas, the website removed them because of copyright issues.
But oh well, there's always the game mags next month......

I feel I am out of the loop here when it comes to the RE games.
After "RE: NEMESIS", I didn't play another RE game until the Gamecube released the re-vamped RE and "RE ZERO", both of which I have played and finished.

I never had the opportunity to play "CODE VERONICA", as I had NO desire to buy a Dreamcast when it came out....I guess that was a mistake, eh?

Is Code Veronica where all this Progenitor business originated? Are there OTHER RE games out there that slipped under my radar?
 
Good thing about Gamecube is all the titles are being released again I think RE 2 & 3 even got souped up to Code Veronica style graphics... I haven't bought those yet because the courage to play Zero and the Remake still escapes me lol
 
First I found out they are making the sequel to the Resident Evil movie yesterday, and today I found out they are making a new Resident Evil game. It's a good weekend, lol. I dunno. I kinda liked the zombies though, but I guess tranced villagers will still be good.
 
Well call me a fuddy-duddy, but the most recent console I own is a Dreamcast, so I guess I won't be playing this one, eh? ::drool::
 
The Dreamcast is a classic piece of kit... 😀

But Gamecube has Resident Evil 🙂 but other consoles have diff exclusives so you're always gonna lose out no matter which you pick 🙁 but bah humbug... Can't wait for Resident Evil Apocalypse to hit the Cinema though 😀

I should say I won't be playing it soon . Call me cheap, but I always wait until a console is on life support before I buy in. Loads of cheap games and accessories that are at least new to me, although I've noticed the best games, such as Soul Calibur will always cost more. Resident Evil Apocalypse, I'm there!

Yeah, we didnt want a law suit.

The screens were really really good, they looked like cut scenes, but wernt. There may be a few sites still hosting them but expect them to come back some time next month (when GameInformer comes out)
 
i loved resident evil since i saw the movie with mike. i dunno if id play the video game. my brother mite take it.

Now its possible I forgot one, but I think I nailed them all.
 
Hmm, looks interesting, I have played the other games for a few minutes then I put it down and turn it off. I get all tense and nervous when I play it and one time I was playing it and the phone rang and I jumped out of my skin. It's coming out here in November, I am sure my brother will buy it since he has the rest of the series.
