hey i dont know if this belongs here so if it doesnt if a moderator could please move it, or delete it if its already been said.
i thought this is the best place though, and i really wanted to say this

ive noticed alot of people in here often dont respect others opinions and ive noticed Rayne cracking down on this especially in Bangel vs. Spuffy threads, and yes i am probably guilty of this also

please dont bash other people for having opposite opinions we are all entitled to our ideas

for Bangel fans you all believe that Buffy will always love Angel and i will agree that she used to

for us Spuffy fans we believe people are capable of changing and moving on, and that Spuffy has a chance

i just really wanted to say this because ive seen more and more and its not only aggravating to members on teh boards but probably turning people off from coming. everone in here is great, and most people do not do this. i know i wont anymore because i probably have before, and i just hope others respect everyone also!

I completely agree, BillieHunter. Everyone has their own right to ship whoever they want, no matter what. I respect the Spuffies alot, I have tons of Spuffy friends. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. 🙂

I like to debate alot because its fun, and its keeps our minds fresh. But, I don't like when people are bashed for ship a different ship then another person. No reason for that.
 
thank you for agreeing, most people here are vey respectful, but a few can really ruin it for everyone, btw i love the DB quote in you sig! Nice banner too..

Lol, Im only kidding. Im sorry, I couldnt resist even if it does make me come off as an 'A' hole.
 
Off course no bashing, but just give up on the spuffy vs. bangel threads, they results in endless spike is better, angel is better discussion.
 
That's a very good idea BillieHunter.

I just don't see the point of getting in to big arguments over the fact that we have different opinions. We all believe different things and we believe those things for a reason so it isn't fair to get on someones back because of it. I speak from personal experience. Over at another forum i regularly frequent, one of the mods came up with the idea of having a ship battle where we all voted out our least favorite ships every week till we had a winner. This started out fine but as we got further in things got really heated and people were saying things about others i know they didn't really mean, myself included. In the end it got so bad that the thread was closed and people were given official warnings. This seemed to bring them to their senses and made them realise how petty and childish they had been.

All i'm saying is that, in the end, stupid little arguments over a difference in views is definetly not worth the hassle and there really is no need for it.

And after all, the world would be boring if we all agreed wouldn't it?? loi Peace. 🙂
 
Sharing valid oppinions is fine. I have seen it work without wars waging...but it's when people don't take the time to say what they feel in a respectful manner that others get defensive and bite back. I just want to say that if you can't help bashing other characters or reading differing views on a subject then don't post. But I agree. We should really take a break from any threads that pit Spike and Angel against each other in any way, shape or form. 😉
