American queer icon, Leslie Jordan passed away unexpectedly today. And quite honestly, this is probably the worst celebrity death I’ve felt. As a gayby growing up in the late 90s/early 00s, Beverly Leslie and Brother Boy, two of his most famous characters, have meant so much to me. Leslie was an absolute doll, and became an even bigger global phenomenon with his Instagram videos during the COVID 19 pandemic. He was full of life and love, always being a beacon of hope and joy for the LGBT+ community.
Here’s to all you have given to this world, Leslie. Your light will be very missed, but never forgotten!
