Regarding the stuff in the link about "Missing Friends", I would have very much liked to have seen Charisma Carpenter come back to reprise Cordelia. Yeah, maybe in the classroom scene with Willow but I would think she could have had some very meaningful interaction with Xander in his dream. Anya was really good, but having Cordelia too would have been great. Eliza Dushku's Faith - yes I would have loved to have seen her too, especially because she is also a vampire slayer and certainly had a role to play with the Primal. She and Buffy were both involved with the dream foreshadowing of Dawn's arrival. Well the scene with the bed that Buffy and Faith made and Tara's "be back before Dawn" was a good substitute for having Faith in the flesh. And no doubt David Boreanaz as Angel could have also fitted in easily, given all his past history with Buffy and the other Scoobies. But having him translate the Primal, Primitive, First Slayer to Buffy would have taken that role from Tara. One of the most intriguing things about "Restless" is how Tara plays such a big role in the dreams. I was left wondering "why Tara?".
All the things that could have been done - probably there wasn't enough time in a single episode. I enormously respect Joss Whedon's creativity giving us the "Restless" that we have.
