Restless - Which dream was the best?

I chose for Giles'. Because he sings so beautifully. And because there's quite a lot of Spike in it ^^
But I liked them all, all of them were really nicely executed and all of them were equally important for the rest of the show. But erm, do we know already what's up with the cheese-man? 😛

I remember when I first watched the episode being blown away by it. Because my entire life I've been watching "dreams" as presented on TV and movies and they are never anything like any dream I've ever had. I wondered if I was a freak and if everyone dreamed movie style dreams but me.

But Xander's dream won me over. I mean, that is exactly how real dreams are. His is the only one I retain any specific memories of...so it gets my vote.

Willow's. Come on people, the school play, that was awesome 😀

Though I wish they had brought Cordy back for that one...I mean, it would've made sense.

I'd say Xander's.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the playground scene with giles, xander, spike and buffy.
That was always so interesting to me....kind of creepy, kind of cute....very interesting.
The ice cream truck was bomb. As was snyder doing the ap now character.
~Buffy's dream is the second best....something about it made me understand the whole episode.

I'm in the minority, I liked Buffy's dream. 🙂 I really liked how the colors changed from normal to heated red and orange, I thought that it was a really different and interesting way to show her that I don't believe has been shown on television very often. Also, I mostly love it because of Tara.

You think you know ... what's to come ... what you are. You haven't even begun.

That quote really moved me, I felt that though it was both true and important to the plot. It also seems like it ties in with the "cookie dough" speech in Season 7, but I think that it was portrayed best here. It's all about that no matter how powerful and ready and complete Buffy feels, she's still young and growing up. At least that's how I take it. : cheesy :

I LOVE Giles' dream, its so FUNNY. especially with spike. oh, and of course The Cheese Guy!!!!

I would have to say Buffy's. Okay, visually there wasn't much to say about it, but there were so many great lines in Buffy's dream.

"The key concept? Coffeemakers that think"
"We need to make a fort" "I'll get the pillows"

And my favorite quote has to be "I walk. I talk. I shop. I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out, and I don't sleep on a bed of bones."

And this dream really showed Buffy wasn't alone and the relationship of the core four was really emphasized. Plus it had the famous quote "You think you know. What's to come. What you are. You haven't even begun"

Xander's. the whole thing, with Anya's "Driving", the park scene, the french dub, snyder, and i also really adore the track on Buffy:The Score for his dream too. the music is great.

When I first came into the thread and saw the poll, I thought for a sec and my first instinct was to go for Willow's. I thought about the brilliant hilarity that is the Death of A Sales Man scene, so many funny lines and moments. (Buffy: Ohmigod. The place is packed. Everybody's here! Your whole family's in the front row, (cheerful) and they look really angry.) Harmony continually trying to bite Giles till he finally tells her, "thats very annoying." Buffy's one breath monologue, " Men! With your ... sales!" And then the classroom scene, and Oz was there!

THen I read through the thread and now I don't know, Giles' and Xander's were so good too (god, I freaking LOVE this episode!) My favorite part of Xander's I think is when he can't understand what Giles and Anya are saying cause they start speaking French all of a sudden, his reactions in that scene were awesome, lol. So yeah I don't think I can really choose... well I can say Buffy's doesn't get top spot.

Yeah same, I loved that quote too. I didn't pick up on it on the first time but, when I re-watched it I noticed the quote of "Be back before Dawn" and that gave me shivers! It was so well put in, it basically told us on the arrival of Buffy's sister 😛 Gotta love the writers 🙂
