Apparently, coredelia will never wake up and Angel has to pull the plug on her life support. also he's been spying on connor and he realizes he has to stop and get over his son. Lilah also sends a covert W & H team to retrieve the medalion Spike wore without Angel's knowledge.
Also SMG has said that she would probably not guest in the S5, but other characters would. She said she would probably visit S6.
Sarah Michelle: It's the end of Buffy as we know it. The show Buffy the Vampire Slayer is ending. Hopefully Angel will continue. Joss [Whedon] actually asked me if I would consider doing an Angel next year and of course I had every intention of doing something for the spin-off. I initially thought that was something that I could do, and it still may be something I am going to do. But it's just not going to be next season.
Pat: No big sweeps return?
Sarah Michelle: There is unfinished business between Buffy and Angel and we were lucky enough that The WB was kind enough to let us have David [Boreanaz] for our last two episodes here. And that is certainly something that I would like to be able to do over there also.

However, i personally think that if it is angel's last season, SMG will definitely guest.
 
Ya this is actually an excerpt from an interview SMG did with Access Hollywood.
I wish it wasnt true and that she would guest S5 but it came from SMG's own mouth that she would probably not be guesting... im still hoping that she would change her mind and go on the show though
 
DON'T TRUST TV TOME, have had bad experiences on my own...heard the most strange things that were supposed to happen: NOT TRUE, I mean it, if ya wanna get information Tv Tome is not the choice
 
we all know its crap i cant believe that they still throw such big piles of stench out i find it hard to believe anyone is dumb enouf to believe any of it
 
As for Sarah saying she will not guest star... she has ample time and opportunity to change her mind... I found a transcript to a convention where James Marsters said that he would not be going over to Angel and this is about 4 weeks before The WB announced that he would be a regular cast member.
 
well SMG said that it all depends on the schedule so she may appear in S5 but she did say that she would love to guest star
 
too early for spoilers.... joss and co haven't even decided how to bring spike back...
