Did a back to back rewatch of both episodes and loved both. Seriously I know some don't watch Angel but even if you don't at least watch this episode as both work and designed to work perfectly together.
Its called a Crossover but its less that and more telling the same story from different POV's . In this case Spike and Angel during the Boxer Rebellion
From Spike's pov he thinks Angel is jealous of him for killing a Slayer but from Angel's pov in Darla, we see due to his soul that he's appalled by what Spike has done.
It's also highlighted as Spike is literally leaping in the air in joy and Angel is grimly walking on the ground.

Though Iv never understood how Spike could think that every Slayer has a death wish from those 2 encounters ? Unless it was to cover the fact Spike has gotten beaten up regularly on the show but yet has killed 2 Slayers, to make that make sense

Especially as he couldn't even understand what one of them was saying. I think that as is often the case Spike justifies his actions by interpreting things his own way. Admittedly, that is not remotely uncommon, but Spike does decide something is true and work on that, regardless as to its relation to reality.

For that matter, in neither case was the Slayer displaying anything remotely akin to a death wish. Spike only won both fights because of external forces hampering the Slayer.

Plus we as an audience already know Spike Pov is wrong when we watch Darla anyway.
Dru basically picked him because he was "the first drooling idiot that comes along" and with respect to Angel anyway

Heck, even the start of his reminisces in "Fool for Love" had Spike lying through his fangs. "I've always been bad..." cut to William being anything but.
