Did you make a rewatch of BTVS or Angel? I heard that someone watched BTVS about 4 times! Wow. I started my first BTVS rewatch. I finished season 1 now. How often did you rewatched BTVS and what did you think or experience, what surprised you, made you smile? Did you like or dislike a season more/less after a rewatch? Something new opended to you? I hope this thread wasn't opened before.

I haven't rewatched angel - because I haven't even watch past season two on my first watch 🙁
But I did re-watch Buffy, listening to the commentary for the episodes that had them, which made me more award of small things I never noticed (Like the school only having one corridor 😛 )
Re-watching hasn't made me change my opinion on any seasons, but it has made me change my opinion on Xander. When I first watch BtVS he was one of my favourites - but now I can't stand him 😱

I've done many re-watches of both Angel and Buffy, what I usually find is that I love Ats more and more with each re-watch. except for season 5 which is crap.

I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched Buffy. Angel is harder though because I haven't actually finished it yet 😛 I still need to see season 5 and I don't own the DVDs. Although I plan to change that soon, so hopefully I'll be able to rewatch Angel as well as Buffy!
I don't think any opinions have changed when rewatching, but when I do rewatch Buffy i always find myself torn between shipping Willow/Oz and Willow/Tara. I convince myself I love Willow/Tara the most, and then I see her with Oz and I'm torn again! Everything else is generally the same though. I suppose Dawn grew on me more as I watched more. I never disliked her but I didn't come to love her until a few rewatches!

I started my Buffy rewatch season 1 and I just noticed how much I love it! Everything there is so colorfull, happy and hasn't this dark fler which influenced later seasons! I love some of the episodes! The one with Sid the puppet and the boy with the horror-dreams. Awesome! I love how Xander, Willow and Buffy handled their school-problems with more or less fun! Didn't like season 1 so much when I watched it the first time! Maybe I liked this happiness which I missed a little bit in later seasons! Or they remind me at my everyday school life! I take them as my "funny" example how to get done with school. Just without demons ;D
