Rewrite Angel

I wish that Connor and Angel had bonded earlier. It would've been nice to see that.

Keep Lilah alive, kill Eve.

No Andrew in S5...not EVER.

The gang should've stayed in the hotel. Going to WR&H was really jumping the shark.

No Groo. No no no.

More Dru and Darla!

Take off thoses ridiculous lenses !!!

I would not have killed off Lilah and instead of having her disappear after W&H got slaughtered by the beast, I would have extended her role and made her a series regular. That was just such a missed opportunity.

The relationship with Wesley finally gave her some dimension beyond just being the snarky villain and they decided not to explore her or the beautiful messed up relationship that they had? And then she got killed off just to have that cheapass Cordelia is evil reveal? Just no. Don't know how she could have featured into season five, maybe she could have been killed off in the Jasmine arc, as the first person figuring out that Jasmine is sort of evil and trying to kill her, she would have ended up dead, which would have made her death wonderfully ironic, since then she maybe would have died for her first attempt at a good deed.

Then, I probably wouldn't have brought Cordelia back for season four at all. Her ascension was kind of dumb, but it was a beautiful way to end her character's journey and I think they could have still brought her back for "You're Welcome". And season four could have roughly played out the same way with the Beast/Angelus doing some sort of ritual to bring Jasmine into being. I usually never bought Joss Whedon's excuse for getting rid of Cordelia, that they didn't know what to do with her anymore, but then again season four started with her having amnesia and ended with her in a coma. Maybe I should believe him.

Generally, I also think they screwed themselves by making Angel and Cordelia star-crossed lovers.

I would have made Gwen a series regular for season five, then Fred at least wouldn't have been the only woman in the main cast.

And while I liked the actress that played Eve, I probably would have brought in Adam Baldwin as Hamilton from the season five premiere on. He was a far more interesting and far more fun character to watch and just a nice foill.
