Hello. I'm a huge Buffy fan, obviously. Two years ago, my friends and I had an idea to do our own Vampire Slayer. It's called Riely The Vampire Slayer. It's about a freshman girl named Riely. Her best friends, Lilah and Parker, and her Watcher, Roger, fight even in a small town in New Jersey.

I'm trying to make the 'movie' or 'show' as best I can. I know some people get a little territorial when it comes to Buffy. And I'm afraid to slip up and get bad reviews and what now.

My friends and I will be filming this in our own home town. We won't have special affects, like vampires turning to dust, but we still hope everyone will like it.

My father has a lot of technical equipment that we can use. So, once we film the movie or first episode (we aren't sure what we're gunna do yet), we are gunna upload it onto the site somehow so people can watch it.

I'm currently making a website for it now.

Does anyone have any questions, comments?
 
I'd try to be a little less derivative of Buffy. You should use the mythology of Buffy/Angel and do an original idea. Just my two cents.
 
Well, right now I have only a few roles done. It's hard to do casting because you have to find good people that can act as well as look the part. So far I have...

Riely Winters, the vampire slayer
played by Stephanie Holowka

Parker Halliwell, the local best friend (like Xander)
played by Michael George (Me)

Lilah, the last vampire slayer (dies at the beginning for Riely to be called)
played by Megan Pittenger

Ryan, a vampire
played by Ryan Bovee
 
I think I'll have people that can't act just not say anything. They could just be background people, like all the potential slayers on Buffy.
 
Lots of people have tried, many have failed. Its great to know that you havn't been discouraged. Hope it works out, sounds like a great idea, and if you manage to get it onto a site, I'll definatly watch it.

....notice how most of us cannot spell definatly??? see?
 
Well, I'm working on the website now. I know how to add video's onto the website, so once we film the first episode, it will be up. I've seen a lot of things that have failed. Even if ours does, atleast we tried and had fun doing it, ya know?

Definatly... isnt that how you spell it?
 
yes...this sounds hella cool...like the one faldor did..that was pretty damn classic...

the **** nearly hit the fan several times about it but its nearly done.

Yeah, I've watched the Fluffy episode a million times! LoL. and I looked at your site too! LoL. Here are a few updates.

~A small photo shoot has been scheduled for next week. That way we can brighten up the site a little more (when I get it done).
~Finished Act One and Act Two of the script.
~Filled two more character roles.
~Decided on the background song for the opening credits.
~We're not trying to track down a good date to start filming.
 
are you going to put a website together?

we've got an orignal sound track i really suggest you do the same it makes all the differents! 🙂
 
yeah, I'm working on it now, but it's not that good since everything isnt finalized. its also kinda dull because we haven't gotten any pictures up yet.

original as in no one has heard the songs before? hm...

We aren't gunna have special affects though, cuz you need thousands of dollars to do so. We are going to use the graphics design place at the local High School to add in words and what not during the opening credits.

I tried watching the teazer for your project, but a little window comes up saying there is a virus in it. :-\
 
When i first read this i thought "Uh...Riley?Agent finn?Why riley?Whats wrong with angel?I hate riley." but its not riley finn!Yaya!

Anyways cool idea.....I wanna watch!
