Riley/Buffy Shippers!

Right around here.
I really hate Riley/Buffy so this thread isn't for me...I created it because...I have never ever met a single Riley/Buffy shipper. Not one. In all my travels of the Virtual Buffyverse, zilch. So...I was wondering if they really did exist, or if was just a myth.
 
Come to think of it you're actually right in all my time on the internet (and believe me that's alot of time) i havent met a single person that is a B/R shipper. Maybe it's such a screw up reletionship that no one bothers.

At least that's what i think.

I've never met a Buffy/Riley shipper either. I don't think there's any fansites on them like there is Bangel or Spuffy!
 
LoLz... I actually just stumbled upon a Riley/Buffy shipper the other day on the net. I thought I should share this unfortunate event... http://www.jenah.net/topten_btvs.html is where she is. She has a whole bunch of top ten BtVS things... which are interesting as one of them is entitled "Reasons To Bring Riley Back" and she includes B/R shipper stuff... excuse me while I throw up...
 
OMG we should like protect her...Coz she's an almost extincted specie..After some thinking ler her do whatever she wants to🙂
 
i almost didn't come to this thread cause i thought it was about B/R shippers!!!! ::thumb:: but i'd like to meet someone who is! don't think it's possible 😛 lol ruffy funny ::mmm:: 😉
 
I'm not a loyal shipper for any pair...I like so many different couplings. I luved Riley and really enjoyed Riley and Buffy together. I cannot say he was my favorite for Buffy but he was really good for her-just my thoughts anyway.
 
i hated buffy and riley.. but i found out that someone like's them coz i found This and This pages dedicating to this shipper... oh well they seemed to liked it.. ::dk::
 
When I watched season 4 I hated the Buffy/Riley relationship. I thought they brought him in too soon after Angel had left. To me he was always seen as a replacement for Angel and he was never good enough. Later when I bought the vids and I was watching season 4 again, I actually started liking him.....don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard bangel and Buffy belongs with Angel no matter what....but he was sweet, and he tried his best to be what Buffy needed. It must have been really hard for him to love her as much as he did and know that she didn't love him the same way.

So, even though I'm a bangel fan I do like the Riley/Buffy relationship.
 
I've never met or spoken to a Buffy/Riley shipper. And perhaps that's a good thing, because I honestly don't think I could stand any gushing over them. Each to his own, of course, but the relationship (especially when celebrated) literally makes me want to puke.

As for Riley just as a person, I hated him too. I was waiting for him to be killed off so I could hold a festive gathering.

BUT, then I bought season four, watched it all the way through, and I grew to tolerate him. I still hate the relationship, but at least I no longer want to punch in my TV whenever he walks on screen.

Still, I was rooting for Angel to beat the life out of him during the crossover. ::fire::
 
I loved the crossover, when Riley and Angel met. When I first watched the episode I felt so sorry for Angel and I really wanted Buffy to ask him to stay. But re-watching that episode, I felt sorry for Riley as well. I was still glad Angel kicked his butt and I was more upset for Angel but Riley seemed 'cute' compared to Angel. It was obvious Riley would never be what Buffy needed, so I felt slightly sorry for him.
 
Buffy/ riley isn't my favorite ship, but I liked riley, I think he was what buffy needed. He really loved her, and I think Buffy was self absorbed, and I think she loved him, but she waited to long. I was a bit pissed he never came back for her, to see.. To make sure she didn't love him. He just showed up married and I was like *******! I liked Riley, and Buffy, but the timing was off, if they had gotten together later, or when Buffy was more open to it, I think they could have worked. I don't think Riley was below Angel, I think he was to almost good for buffy.. He was human, and everyone sees that as week or less but really that's what everyone wants in the show. To be a plain normal human. Riley hit some low points with the vamp chick and everything, but he was a interesting character, and he developed the show, plus made the contrast for spike, cause buffy going from angel right to spike would have changed the dynamic I think. The spike buffy thing would have lost something, so all you spuffy shippers actually owe riley for setting up buffy for her relationship with spike. Anyways, I'm not a full out riley buffy shipper but I think their relationship had purpose, and I didn't hate it.
 
Wow...people actually liked Riley. I hated Riley. I thought he was a *looong list of nasty things that would take a real long time to type* I danced for joy when he left and was disappointed we didn't kill him off. Not only did he have the gall to keep Spuffy from happening for a while, he came back and stopped the Spuffy! Fiend! But...I am educated. There is such a thing as a Ruffy shipper. I am aghast (I think I spelled that wrong...). Let's chip 'em!
 
i don't think she really loved riley..like i think she didn't love spike in s6.. and i'm a spuffy shipper...i just think that buffy (as well as angel) dispite of trying to aperrently moved on, deeply always thinked they would end up togueter in the end.. and it didn't let buffy open up to riley or spike and let herself loved them.. i only saw an buffy improvement in s7, when all the cute spuffy action were... if there was a riley there (and thanks god there wasen't..)ruffy might slytly had a litlle chance..but before s7 no way..
