Hmm! I really like Marc Blucas BUT the Riley character appeared to have reached the point where his sole function was to remove his top every couple of episodes (ala Angel in the first few seasons). I am not complaining as Marc's torso is very nice (as is David Boreanez torso). However, Riley had outlived his usefulness so probably time he went.

Now - what's going to happen with Spike?
Who is Ben?
What's Ben's relationship with Glory?
Where has Harmony gone?

Oh and wasn't the Chaos Demon funny?

Are you sure you want to know? It can be more fun to find out as you go along. Spoilerfree is the way to go. 😛

And if you really have to know it's not hard to just look it up yourself. There's a whole board full of spoilers here, you know.

I strongly advise against that though. It's more fun spoiler-free.

Definitely spoiler free for me. The questions are just me spilling out the thoughts in my head. You know what I mean - who, what, where and why? No actual desire for the answers and am guessing all will be explained.

I get what you mean. And spoilerfree is good. But be careful. With posts like that people might still end up answering just to be nice. ;)
Be careful in the season 5/6/7 and 8 threads so hun! There are spoiler landmines everywhere! lol Oh and be careful of the Inside Out forum too! Just incase

You are very brave posting while watching...I would be too tempted and spoil myself horribly.

Did anyone else giggle at "What's Ben's relationship with Glory?" ? Fun memories...

Memories? Or lack of. *giggle*

Willow: "Ben and Glory are the same person?"
Xander: "Glory can turn into Ben and Ben turns back into Glory."
Anya: "And anyone who sees it instantly forgets."
Spike: "A kewpie doll for the lady."
Giles: "Now, do we suspect that there may be some kind of connection between Ben and Glory?"

Hated Riley. With a fiery vengance. Hated, hated, hated, hated. Glad he went.

Umm, yeah...not exactly on the fence with the Riley issue lol

Right there with ya on that one!
Also to one of the above comments i was giggling at the Ben's relationship with Glory 😛

I didn't have any serious problems with him, to be honest, it was just he that he seemed to have trouble escaping that Boreanaz shaped shadow that still loomed over the idea of a love interest for Buffy. His exit from the show was beautifully dramatic though.

Yeah i like him too, i never use to though. The only thing i didn't like was that he wanted to be ' a bad boy'
like 'Buffys type'

When I first thought about the idea of Buffy with a vampire (Angel), I thought it was beautiful and "poetic", as Giles put it.. Bangel was romantic and tragic and completely beautiful. But by the time Buffy went to college and met Riley, I was holding out for a nice, normal guy who could fight alongside Buffy and be the romantic, strong man she needed in her life. And at first, Riley was that man... And then the writers, for some reason, decided to turn him into a clingy, whiny boy. I thought it was really unbelievable for the character to do an about-face (pardon the military pun!) like that, and was pissed off when they wrote him out of the series. I thought it was beautifully done and heart-breaking, but I was so mad that they had taken Riley in that direction. And in my opinion, it was because Joss and James were such great friends that Joss decided to make Spike the love interest so he could work with him longer... Which is shady. But whatever; it happens a lot in Hollywood and in Joss' shows.

Oh, very conspiratorial. Happen to agree with a lot with what you wrote there and the worst thing also was that the character was only in the series for a season and a bit. Joss and the writers, I feel, never really seemed to give the character enough of a chance to grow and develop in the way he could have done, instead writing him off way too soon.

I felt the same way... I didn't think they gave Doyle much of a chance at all, which sucked. I loved Doyle and was so sad to see him go...

I don't see why Joss couldn't have just brought Wesley into the series and kept Doyle at the same time. Personally I didn't see any problems with the character or Glenn Quinn's performance, I thought he fit in very well and he had lovely chemistry with David and Charisma.

Yeah i thought they had good chemistry between them too.

I Loved it when it was just those three.
