As amazing as it seems, Gunn. I think his experience wins out over Riley's physique and military training. Gunn without initiative tech fought hordes of zombies. Riley relied too much on his commando weapons. I don't think Riley would have done as well as in some of the battles Gunn fought. If it came down to it I don't think Riley could kill a human, Gunn can.
 
Gunn would win for certain. Riley is just, well to put it plainly, lame! Gunn has real experience and not drug heightened muscle experience like Riley.
 
Hmmmm that's a tough call. Riley's got military combatives training, but Gunn was raised on the streets and he fights demons on a regular basis... My money's on Gunn.

Ok! Some serious Riley defending is in order!!! 😀It's true Riley may not want to kill a human but I think he would if he had to. Have you seen him fight? He really can kick some ass. I think he's got more heart than Gunn and that could be an advantage. If he was fighting Gunn for Buffy, I think he would win. He could keep up with Buffy and he did save her when she got stabbed. Wouldn't you want to be military trained to fight demons?

I think Riley could definitely kill a human. He's a soldier, after all. That kind of training is part of his job, and if he weren't assigned to The Initiative it's likely he'd be working somewhere else, possibly killing people or at least involved in the killing of people.

But Gunn could kick his ass. 😛 Just saying! 😀 Even if Riley has more technical training, Gunn's fighting style is a lot more spontaneous and stylistic. You need all of that to be a good fighter! Riley's good, but Gunn's better. It kind of reminds me of what Buffy says to Kendra in Season 2. Kendra is well technically trained, but Buffy has an edge to her.
 
I voted Gunn for the fact that he grew up in this lifestyle. Riley was trained I think Gunn would beat Riley it would be a good fight but he would be victorious.
 
Definitely Gunn as he's had more experience in the field and doesn't have to resort to things like grenades like Riley did.
 
Charles Gunn. Both are good fighters, I guess, but Gunn would totally kick Riley's ass. I do think that, because Gunn is more experienced in hand combat and Riley on the other hand is rather trained to use guns. So Riley would lose against Charles.
 
Totally Riley. Life others have said, he's been trained for demon fighting. Gunn on the other hand lacks skills because he learned to fight in the street. Also, Riley is bigger 🙂

I think Riley would win, I don't see Gunn's experience on the streets beating Riley's military training. Also I like Riley a lot better than Gunn so I kinda want Riley to win! 😀

Didn't Riley say that he bagged something in the order of 16 vamps and 2 demons or something like that? I'm not at home right now so I can't access that specific episode. I would have thought Gunn killed more than that amount. Maybe my numbers are off.

About Gunn, possibly. But he didn't do it alone. He had his gang with him.
 
I voted for Gunn because he has more experience than Riley and Gunn has been fighting against vampires/demons for most of his life. Gunn managed to beat a large amount of vampires all by himself in "Not Fade Away" (However he was seriously wounded)

True, but he also killed the senatorial candidate and then fought off her vampire henchmen. He got injured but he survived in the end. Riley at his strongest when he was feeling no pain might have had a chance. Riley with no drugs and no heart condition? Not a chance.
