Ringer Canceled

I'm not that surprised; but I am a little bummed for Sarah. It was nice having her back on tv every week. Hopefully the pilot Freddy is in does well.

A little off topic, but how on earth does Hart of Dixie get renewed?!

I couldn't even try watching HoD--I'm guesing it's really awful. How indeed!

I stopped watching Ringer around episode 3 so i'm not disappointed by the news, but I did catch random episodes and it seemed a lot better than the beginning. I am even more disappointed that a serialized show got cancelled, I think TV needs more shows like Ringer where every episode contributes to the story, I can't stand shows like CSI that are full of stand-alone episodes

That makes no sense! The Secret Circle had better rating then HoD, which was so bad.

I don't really care about Ringer, it was kinda boring.

I'm wondering how The Bachelor and The Bachelorette got renewals. I guess they're both so bad that they're good.

I feel sad about Ringer, though. I don't know why. I knew there wouldn't be any season 2.

I'm bummed it was cancelled, but it's not exactly news...

Very happy Nikita is renewed and they are FINALLY going to put an end to Gossip Girl.......
 
Well I can't say I'm surprised. Nor do I think much could really be done with a S2 of Ringer. But this still makes me sad. Though that could be partly down to the fact that I'm watching the later episodes of S5 of AtS 🙁

They're renewed for 11 or 13 episodes. But after all, they're done.

They waited 'till everyone slept with everyone......
 
I'm not surprised "Ringer" got cancelled. The plot was confusing and it would have been way too crazy to try to work Sarah's pregnancy into the story for a new season. It does suck for her though. :/

Hopefully SMG picks something better next time... This show was pretty boring. She needs to kick ass again. 😉
 
though I was never a fan of the show, I am sorry for Sarah's sake that it got canceled. That does. however make me wonder. Neither Sarah nor Freddie have had anything that might be called a hit by any stretch of the imagination lately, and I can't help but wonder just how hard it is for either of them to get offered a decent role now.
 
To be honest...I'm not surprised either. And maybe its a good thing since SMG's pregnant, she can focus on her family more. Is the show finished for the season?
I've just watched the episode where Katherine drugged Bridget (thinking she's Siobhan)

But I'm really happy Touch got renewed and also The Vampire Diaries!!

While I kinda enjoyed seeing SMG on the screen again I must say that the story in Ringer just wasn't good enough imho.

Would probably kept watching if it got renewed but can't say I'm that upset, or surprised, by the cancellation.

I didnt watch the show, I tried to pick it up a few episodes in and found it way too confusing to follow (which in my opinion might have been its downfall - it wasnt new viewer friendly). I am sorry its been cancelled for Sarah's sake though.
 
I watched the entire season, hanging in there for SMG's sake. But I'm not surprised at all that it was cancelled. Although the 2nd half was better than the 1st, it wasn't a favorite of mine. I'm hesitant to admit this, but I was not overly impressed with SMG's acting. She seemed to only have one facial expression. Her overall range was much better in Buffy. I'm glad that she got a chance to come back to TV, and hopefully this will lead to a better role for her.
 
Lol, my first reaction reading post 1: "Oh no, Secret circle was canceled?"

Then Ringer, yes well, I guess it's been coming and though I'm disappointed in a way in another I just don't care. The show didn't catch my interest, I think I managed to get through 4-5 episodes before getting too annoyed with Bridget/Siobhans characters both.

It'd be nice to see SMG back on TV of course, but much like E. Dushku I kind of feel like it'd be nice to see her on a show where she doesn't necessarily play the lead. I can understand their reservations about that but personally I think it'd be nice to see them as supporting cast until something worthwile comes along.
