Ringer picked up by the CW

I was just coming to post the teaser here is that just skip ahead and there are two scenes of the show 🙂 It looks good and Sarah still has it.

I'M SO EXCITEDDD!

tbh I'm not too excited about the premise of the show. it's not really my thing. But it's SMG, so of course I'll watch. 😀 I think that's what the CW execs are counting on.
 
I really hope it isnt as depressing as it seems, because TheCW crowd isnt really into ultra depressing shows. I want to see some more life from this show when it airs hopefully.
 
It's great to see SMG back but I am really not loving anything about these promos. If she wasn't in it, I wouldn't even consider watching.

Ya I feel the same way. I wish they had approached the promo differently and I already see things that I woudl change but hopefully that will be in the full show and put my fears to rest.

And for some reason SMG really likes to play depressing characters/movies.

Her acting quality clearly hasn't diminished.😀 She still looks amazing and very similar to how she looked in season 7 of Buffy. Not sure about the show yet but Sarah's in it meaning i'll watch. 🙂
 
It's nice seeing her in something bright and glamourous after watching Buffy and her always in neutral or dark colours. The promo trailer thing doesn't look particularly appealing but I'd still give it a chance.

This Sarah Michelle Gellar vehicle almost didn't make it on the air because CBS didn't pick it up, but The CW swooped in and now it's the most adult show that fledgling network has ever attempted. It looks well written, twisted and dark, with Buffy living it up as two very different twin sisters. Consider this a ringing endorsement.

LOL They call it the most twisted and dark show before it even airs? Pfft. Supernatural and Nikita are pretty damn twisted and dark, too; Ringer has to be the fracking Holocaust to out-dark Supernatural.

I hope this is true but I keep thinking of Lone Star that was one of the most promising and it was off the air after two episodes.
I don't think the CW makes you have half the ratings do as other networks though.

Yeah, that's the good thing about CW. They almost never cancel anything. Ringer will be safe as long as SMG's in it and the ratings are all right.
