This should be good. Even if it isn't, its just a pilot. Pilots usually aren't that great, so if does suck I'll still be tuning in the next few weeks.

Are you kidding me? Did the channel just go offline in the middle of the pilot? Lmao!

My channel was fine.

Decent pilot, if a bit predictable. found myself caring more about Juliet and maybe Gemma than any other of the characters. Andrew is pretty cool so far though, and I can see him becoming a favorite in the future.

Episode Summary

This is a rough outline on the 1st episode....

SMG is playing two roles of twin sisters named Bridget (a stripper who is character witness for a murder trial) while the other one is Shioban (a rich New Yorker with a husband and a secret life).

Bridget ran away the day before the trial and met with her twin sister. The sisters end up going on a speed boat and Bridget fell asleep or was drugged and woke up to her sister Shioban missing from the boat with her clothes floating in the ocean assuming she is dead.

Being that Bridget is on the run from the police since she left the trial she took Shioban's rich lifestyle without realizing the sister faked her death for a reason cause of her secret life. Police come to Bridget thinking she is Shioban ofcourse and ask her if shes seen her sister cause she left the trial and the murderer is now free and roaming the streets looking for her. Bridget still plays it off that shes Shioban and says she hasn't seen her in months and the police eventually find proof that it was a lie and she saw her not long ago.

Bridget portraying Shioban comes to find out Shioban is pregnant and has been having an affair with her best friends husband. Then eventually she is attacked by a masked man and ends up shooting the guy and finds a picture of her sister. Then screen shot showing the sister Shioban still alive and well in Paris. :O

Overall it was alright but I found it so predictable myself but its just starting so I'll give it some time.

Your banner makes me want to throw up! But I love ya anyway. :D
I didn't get to really watch tonight. My dad called me 20 minutes in and needed to talk, so I'll have to rewatch it tomorrow. :\

I enjoyed it.

@NYStateofMind
The impression I got was that the cop guarding her was going to kill her cause he was on the take so she was running from the cops as much as the gangster guy. Maybe i'm off but the shot of the cop guarding her already having his holster unsnapped or having "broken leather" as it were indicated he was going to kill her. Which was reinforced later by bridget saying bridget would never assault a cop and seeming surprised that is what nestor carbonall thought happened. I may be off but that was how i interperted it.

I agree with that...I missed a few points in trying to sum it up without actually working on it...i didn't even proof read :p
Predictable, but then again, with SMG's work, predictable can be good (Simply Irresistible... ugh). I was actually caught off guard by the fact that
Siobahn was pregnant. It wasn't a huge twist, it just hadn't occurred to me, and was a nice change of pace.

Same here, it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
I enjoyed it...a little slow paced for me but I'm excited to see more. I posted a brief review on my website (The Sunnydale Crypt link in my sig.)

I enjoyed it. I didn't think it was amazing, but it does have potential and I will definitely be watching next week.

"it feels too adult to appeal to the majority of the channel's target viewership." doesn't bother me when it comes to me liking the show but I get that it might play an important role of the chances for it's survival.
Exactly, I could care less about it being "too adult"- I mean, I am an adult and have absolutely no interest in teen dramas. I watch no other CW show. The only "teen shows" I can think of that I like are Buffy & Glee (well, watching the random iCarly/Victorious episodes with my kids). But I am concerned about its survival. I'm hopeful though- after all, UPN & the WB (CW's predecessors) had Buffy and Angel, and Angel was a lot more "adult" than Buffy.

I liked the pilot last night. I wouldn't say I was blown away, but I was intrigued. My least favorite scenes were the ones with both twins: the effects were not very good, and those scenes felt awkward to me. Which is surprising since some reviewers who got to preview the pilot liked that part of it.
Shiboan is a bitch, I don't like her, but that's probably the point LOL! I really, really liked Bridget, and SMG's portrayal of her. I liked her chemistry with most of the male characters on the show, although unlike The Scourge I found myself uninterested in the other females so far.

What is up with SMG's voice? Is that a natural deepening due to age, or is it the character (Bridget in particular seems to have a deeper voice than Shiboan)?

So, did Gemma lure her to the other apartment? I wonder how the pregnancy will play out, I found that part interesting. And who was the little boy in the photo, did he die, and did Bridget have a part in that death (like a drunk driving crash or something)?

Taake agrees: Seriously, Veronica decides to die hasn't been released yet? No loss in my opinion but still, it's been so long.
Nope, not yet. Kinda ridiculous, isn't it?

Same here, hopefully that sort of thing will get better as the series continues.

I'm guessing he was Shiboan's son who died. It sounded like Bridget may have played some role in it since she was still apologizing for it and asking for forgiveness.

I just finished watching. It was all right, there was enough in it to keep me intrigued and wanting to watch more, but I wasn't blown away.

I did find myself cringing at the boat scenes though, the green-screen-ness was way too obvious. :/

Haha, all my thoughts exactly!
I watched the premiere last night and I really liked it. I just hope it keeps going because I want to see what happens in the show.

I really enjoyed it, I wasn't expecting to like it, but the story was interesting enough to grip me.

I could see why CBS would have started with it, the story was more adult, but it didn't quite get there.

I also read it was the most watched hour of TV for the CW for a Tuesday in 3 years, I'd credit that to SMG.
