Lol am I the only one who doesn't think this? I mean I still think she looks beautiful but I can definitely tell she's aged a bit since Buffy (understandably) . The make up in the second ep was way better though. Her party outfit with the ponytail was just awful however. Truly awful.
Didn't care much for the drunk scenes though in the flashback, found the acting kind of so-so there truth be told. :S
Yeah I also want to keep with this show because of SMG. But I wanted it to be different. For one I kinda thought her sister would turn out to be like some secret spy. And then she, in place of her sister, would have to be badass and fight and stuff. It would sell better.
SMG looks incredible though, especially in the second ep. I hope it get's better, I wanna like this show, and hopefully the ratings pick up..
Well for those who can't see it, try to watch it On Demand or via the website because I think those contribute to ratings. Obviously illegal online viewing won't count and I have no idea if watching via Hulu counts either.
My sister is gonna watch Ringer with me tonight, but she hasn't seen the last 2 eps, so I just had to explain everything that is happening, and you wouldn't believe how hard that actually was to explain. 😛
Doesn't Bridget know that going around asking people questions (who know she should already know the answers) is just plain stupid and draws attention to herself?
The attorney, Gemma, etc. Its like she wants to be found out.
This episode though I mostly felt incredibly sorry for Malcolm 🙁 Just, poor poor guy...

All in all I thought the episode was good though, I'm no fan of Siobhan however.
I like the episode, but last weeks episode was much better. The only scene I really LOVED is the last scene between Bridget and Andrew. And that gown she wore is amazing. SMG looked really good in it. And it's interesting how Siobhan is starting to show some emotions.
I loved this episode - it is getting better and better with every week for me! Although
Bridget's attempts to keep the body hidden last week
were exciting, I thought this week stepped it up once again..... I'm finding it really intriguing how we are on the same level as Bridget as in we don't know these people and we are finding out the same things alongside her - we are plunged into this life we have no clue about.
Finding out about
the darker aspects of Siobhan's life - the troubled marriage verging on abuse - is raising so many questions and I doubt everything that is assumed now!
There's got to be a big twist somewhere in the forthcoming episodes about who really is behind this.
Loved Bridget getting
one up on the guy on the phone - "Looks like i've just bought myself some insurance" and the bit where the officer says "I can help you" and she replies "you already have"
I just love seeing SMG back!!! Haaa I also like that we saw a bit more of Siobhan in this episode and alot more of her character. There are still so many questions surrounding her though - WHAT IS SHE UP2?
The one thing I don't get though is how absolutely no one has noticed anything different about Bridget- as - Siobhan. Yes, there are the several odd looks people give her and asking her if she's ok, but her best friend seems so at ease with her. Surely a best friend would know something is up??
Also, there are times when Bridget speaks out loud for the benefit of the audience which sometimes frustrates me
like at the beginning, "Is Andrew behind this?" or when she is at the flat, "maybe this is worthless, maybe Andrew's telling the truth" It just seems unnatural that by herself she'd say these things out loud - but I guess it is for our benefit to know what she is thinking.
Its only a small thing haaa I do love the character though!
All in all a great episode - I'm getting hooked!!!
I agree that last week's was better. This week's episode was very much about Siobhan. I loved the scene at the end of the episode. I go more indepth about my thoughts here if you are curious or just awesome.
Oh so random question, how do you spell Siobhan's nickname? Is it just Shiv? That is what it sounds like.
^ There was a short little promo at the end of the episode. Something to do with a tape recorder I think? I'm not sure, my sister started talking really loud over it so I didn't hear what was going on. :/
