Great fun to see Sweden beat USA in women soccer. 😀
We needed something positive. It hasn't been much of it lately.

Some horrible decisions by the referees towards the end and I'm not sure we actually was the better team but hey, I take it anyway.

Heartbreaker for me, since I was rooting for the USA. A few bad calls but it seemed to go both ways so I can't complain.

They may not have been the better team but they did come out and play the better game so kudos to them for sticking to their game plan and getting the win. At the end of the day, they earned it.

Sucks to read about Hope Solo's shitty post game comments. Girl can't lose with grace.

I am watching womans soccer now - Brazil just beat Aussies. Very happy for them! They so happy!


I havent seen the water polo lately - I am asleep, but I heard their pool turned green too :/

Most have likely played in worse, but its a bit of a joke.
 
Just saw Bryony Pages brother on BBC Breakfast, Bryony won Silver in the Trampoline, the first Brit to ever do so. He was in tears, so gracious about his sister, and so proud, it was lovely to see
 
Watching Rafa Nadal play tennis is actually painful. I worry about him with all his tics

I know, the OCD stuff is hard to watch. Especially when he pulls at his underwear all the time!
Did anyone see the Swimming from last night with Phelps where there was a three way tie for silver? That was quite something! And history made as the first Singapore Gold!🙂

Guess the experience of JAH has stood her in good stead in contrast to KJT who hopefully will learn to keep her cool and have a bright future anyway. Think Jess has a good chance of retaining her gold.

That 3 way tie was nuts!
That was a great finish to 1000M. Thought Mo was going to lose it at the end there, but he produced the goods once again.

Very credible performance from Jessica Ellis to get silver. Will be interesting to see if she returns for one more go at it in four years time. Like I said KTJ is still young so should still have her best years to come.
 
Fantastic gold for Max Whitlock, he did brilliantly and first Floor Gold for a Brit. I think you are right @MrTrick, we will finish top 5

Delighted for Andy Murray. The match was a total slog and seemed very physically tough for them both, but great to see Andy get gold. 😀
 
Not a very good day so far in the Olympics for Sweden.

Norway gave us a lesson in Handball today. Dang what an embarrassing beating that was.
In the track and field we even got worse results than expected.
The wrestling guys got close but no medals...

Everything are saved by the Soccer team though. 🙂
They might not be that fun to watch if you want to see lots of goals. But impressive defense and bit of luck can get you far.
First USA and now Brazil. That's not bad at all. Think it can be hard to also beat Germany in the final though...

Well since then Channel 7 has not worked for me at all.... Luckily Channel 10 still works and I got my Bold and the Beautiful fix.

I did see a few highlights on the news, but right now all I can remember is that gymnast.

I hope it lives forevvvaaa! I have been watching for over 20 years.
Well those fine Dutch ladies are into the Hockey finals having squeezed past Germany in a dramatic sudden death penalty shoot out😛 I will cheering them in the final!😀

I also hope to capture the Handball final and some Basketball before the games end.
