So devastated over this news. 🙁 Beastie Boys are one of my all time favourites, and my first gig at age 13.

I saw this earlier but I was already in an...eh mood. ugh. ughhh no. this sucks. what an understatement.
I've been listening to Beastie Boys for forever. 🙁

i saw it a little earlier and couldn't believe it. I feel like I've grown up with them (I'm old & even can remember when MTV first started). I absolutely have loved them both as artists and activists. The Beasties are the one band I have had on my list to want to see that I haven't. He will be really be missed, and I can't even imagine what his family is going through losing him at such a young age.
 
This makes me sad....I love the beastie boys. Have to admit I've harbored a huge crush on Ad Rock but MCA damn - the man with the deep voice.... I'll miss you.
 
Well, this certainly is news to me. Trying to wrap my head around it. I have been a Beastie Boys fan since the very beginning. Never would have expected anything like this.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Adam Yauch. The music world has taken a big hit today. And the Beastie's music was excellent.

"Intergalactic" was, and is, my favorite Beastie song.

Your kidding me! Have I been this disconnected from the world that I completely missed this news? Another groundbreaking and iconic talent gone. My God. Life doesn't stop, does it?
