Best known for Murder, She Wrote which was a big part of my childhood, but was a star of Theatre with 5 Tony awards and appeared in lots of iconic films like Gaslight, The 3 Musketeers, The Manchurian Candidate, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Death on the Nile, The Company of Wolves, and Mrs Potts in Beauty and the Beast

RIP Angela Lansbury. She will always be Mrs. Potts to me, but I did watch Bedknobs and Broomsticks as a kid. I last saw her at the end of Mary Poppins Return. IMDb has her listed as appearing in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, so look forward to that.

This is sad news but not unexpected since she was 96 years old. Such a loss, though. This is eerie because just a few days ago I was watching an Angela Lansbury interview on YouTube. She had an illustrious acting career. This will be hard for her family to go through. RIP

Angela once told a story about how her daughter was enamoured of a scruffy hippie type, who convinced the girl to regularly steal food and things from her house for him and his friends. So Angela moved her family to Ireland.

That scruffy hippie was Charles Manson.
