Okay, I'm gonna do this one because I feel I want to write something...
Celebrities death hits us all differently and this one got to me a bit more than I thought.
Chuck Berry is the foundation to basically all my favorite music.
I have obvious listen a lot to Chuck Berry over the years but it his disciples that are my heroes.
More or less every artist/band I listened to the most during my life has done Chuck Berry covers and explained how much he has influenced them when they was young.
So he has been the common ground. The founder of my taste in music.
Anyway... at least he did live a full life. It's not chocking to pass away at 90.
Even though the news about a new record made me think he still was in relative good shape and everything was okay.
I'm very glad to have been able to see him play once. Back in 2007.
He put on a great show that at least felt spontaneous and improvised (even though I'm guessing it wasn't really lol)
RIP.
