I'm so sad to hear about this. He was a staple of my childhood as Willy Wonka. I know he's been in loads of movies, but Willy Wonka holds a really special place in my heart. RIP Gene. 🙁

Always liked Gene Wilder in anything he did basically.
He stood out in a good way in most of his movies.
His movie with Mel Brooks was brilliant and I also remember really liking Silverstreak.

Sad to hear that he his gone.

Many celebs have died in the last few years...but Gene's death is the only one that really touches me. He was funny as hell and seemed like such a sweet person in real life. Those beautiful eyes!

Another legend gone this year. Gene was one of the great comic actors. Always came across as very warm and gentle. Could play it striaght too, but just had perfect timing in just about everything he did. He was the true Willy Wonka. RIP.
